This seemed to be a New design you got going there!
It took a while, but it finally happened. After couple of months of being on MySpace, I finally got some time to dedicate to "pimp MySpace" as its frequently referred to. In other words, a complete redesign.
Some of you have also may notice the change of vdmo Kstati logo, which I really been itching to simplify. Plus it matches the colour of my eyes, as I sure don't have blue eyes, but green.
Few hours in Photoshop, designing a logo and mock up for the layout and some time spend on CSS and some more adjustments to colours co-ordination and it was set. One of the things that came to my attention though was the way MySpace cuts the quality of some images if you upload them into your gallery. I pay strong attention to these things and its fairly obvious to me.
In the next few weeks, I'll start adding some of my works to the page, so anyone interested can check it out, and if they like it, book me to play at your next gig.
At this point I primarily want to be concentrating on select few genres and pay attention to quality over quantity, September will be my production months as I will be getting myself ready for busier months of the year which by the looks will kick off for me around October followed on all they way through Christmas and New Years. I'm not sure where all of this will take me, hopefully along the way I can meet and work with some great artists and promoters.

Recently I have been recieving fairly large amount of requests to post some of my visuals on MySpace.
Though it might sound like a great idea in theory, I refuse to do so as I find that current policies that MySpace has towards obtaining automatic rights to use of digital material is not something I would want to deal with later on and so I will use this service only as communication tool from now on only. Some files could be placed on external servers which go beyond MySpace control and I will be looking into making couple of random films/.demos to safisfy the growing army of supporters and VJ friends, etc.
Currently Im involved in a number of other web projects which take up quite a bit of my time, yet Im constantly mapping out some projects which I look forward to jumping in the next few weeks as time becomes available.

Once again this blog entry would have to be about MySpace. I do seem to like it, it is amazing how many people I have found online through this network that I have previously met or collaborated or frequently talk online through my www.grigori.com.au/forum
I do hope I get added by a number of them, which will make for a pretty unique and interesting friends list.
One thing that has came to my attention. Recently looking through some of the entries on vjforums I've come across this interesting piece of information which highlights some of the rules and regulations on MySpace,- something I think is really important to know for those who use the system to a full potential.
Please read:
Recent changes to the MySpace.com terms & conditions are likely to impact many users. The new terms are VERY different. If you are a current MySpace user, previous user or a parent, I highly recommend you read their new terms. The new (unreported) terms are significant and grant News Corp (the new owners of MySpace.com), new rights that some may find unreasonable, perhaps surprising. The most concerning issue, is that as a user you are already too late - You've agreed to any changes in your original sign-up, these changes are already in effect. Current Terms Here Dated May 1st 2006 >>>http://collect.myspace.com/misc/terms.html?z=1 Quote: By displaying or publishing ("posting") any Content, messages, text, files, images, photos, video, sounds, profiles, works of authorship, or any other materials (collectively, "Content") on or through the Services, you hereby grant to MySpace.com, a non-exclusive, fully-paid and royalty-free, worldwide license (with the right to sublicense through unlimited levels of sublicensees) to use, copy, modify, adapt, translate, publicly perform, publicly display, store, reproduce, transmit, and distribute such Content on and through the Services. This license will terminate at the time you remove such Content from the Services. Note:If you are a musician who has posted your music at MySpace.com, and you later sign a record deal, your posted recordings may not be protected. If you post risque images as a teen and later move into professional life, these images along with any comments, journals and conversations may still not be protected and sold to a third party. I'd look into those terms carefuly due to these changes back and forth. *** I WOULD ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO READ THESE TERMS FULLY - IF YOU ARE A MYSPACE USER YOUR RIGHTS MAY HAVE CHANGED SIGNIFICANTLY - All of these changes are for a reason, and they effect your rights. Please make sure you understand those terms if you are using this service. **

MySpace,- seems like one one giant spounge which is absobring online communities and bringing people, cultures, art, music and business sector together.
I have been following the development of this Monster for a while and frankly have been astounded by how quickly it reached its size and still maintaining to grow while inviting everyone under its wing in what seems to be 2 ways of separation in the online community mode.
Make sure to join in and communicate and let's see where this thing will take us. I thing first I'll do is to figure out its current functionalities as I havent had much chance to play with it and see about customisation of the interface.
