hit the pic for the shtick!

Notes:
Character definition:
Girl------Adora
name derived via Old French, from late Latin orare, which literally means," to pray to"
"to speak, pray" (source of English adore, oracle, and inexorable).
Love is interweaved with adoration as sure as there is death and taxes. Needless to say, the cliché goes: Love is blind.
Here's a simple logic impishly satisfying sacrilege:
Love is blind; God is love, so God is blind.
Adora's image was shamelessly borrowed from the Wachowski brothers' animated program "the animatrix" specifically the short film entitled 'beyond'.
I was particularly fascinated by the star icon on her right cheek so I immediately felt devoted, and dutifully took advantage of her beauty.
Here are a few interesting facts with regards to a star symbol [from a Dan Brown novel]:
--one of the oldest symbols on earth. Used over four thousand years before Christ and relates primarily to pagans (country dwellers) and nature worship.
--representative of the female half of all things (yin)—a concept religious historians call 'sacred feminine' or 'divine goddess' Early religion was based on the divine order of nature. The goddess Venus and the planet Venus were one and the same. The goddess had a place in the nighttime sky and was known by many names—Venus, the Eastern Star, Ishtar, Astarte—all powerful female concepts with ties to Nature and Mother Earth.
--symbolizes Venus—the goddess of female sexual love and beauty.
--the planet Venus traces a perfect pentacle across the ecliptic sky every eight years.
--according to astrological forecasts, my ruling star is Venus. This perfectly explains why I slaved for 2 months for this strip. (Donations are again accepted.)
Dog------Anubis
In Egyptian mythology, god of the dead. He was considered the inventor of embalming, the guardian of tombs, and a judge of the dead. The Egyptians believed that at the judgment he weighed the heart of the dead against the feather of truth. In art he is represented as jackal-headed. Anubis was sometimes identified with Hermes in Greek mythology. Hermes was believed to possess magical powers over sleep and dreams.
I drew Anubis in the image of an English Springer spaniel with ears that of a golden retriever. In any case, both breeds would make excellent seeing-eye dogs. Anubis was supposed to lead the unwitting Adora to a narcotics agency because she smoked too much pot. But then it occurred to me, damn!!! maybe, he'll bust my stash as well.
Devil in a blue mustang
Enough said.
Structure:
The story was divided into 3 obscure parts namely:
Act 1-----potiguaya trifle
--where both characters talk about dreams and sexual tension. Never mind that the dog speaks. Adora was perhaps tripping. It doesn't require an explanation, just a bibliophile. I included a link to my first short story entitled '8 minutes' because I'm a fan of replication.
Act 2-----the desecration of Plato
--maybe I'm just playing with the titles; maybe Plato was the first to introduce the impression of intangible things; maybe the poem smoke simply raves for delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol; maybe all dogs go to heaven. Life is mad, all around; around and all—mad with life.
Act 3-----the chapter of accidents is the longest.
--isn't the devil cool in a mustang?
Contains 2 poems: 1) Adora and Anubis-like the Roman poet Ovid's Pyramus and Thisbe. Tragedy is an experience of hyper involvement. Magdala- a lyric for Mary Magdalene. I was the whore after all.
Omitted poems:
Drop
her eyes catches mine
there is no silent protest
the immaculate weaves of contentment
stand between us
then strangely walks by
like an abandoned ghost
her eyes catches mine
her current is the shade of pale blue
splendid, tranquil, is it not of this earth?
the sky becomes inverted
with our terraces of unspoken wisdom
there is no need now for catching
no need
we only share our confusions
just in time for yet,
another fall
If this doesn't kill me tonight, nothing will
the trouble with our love
is that it wasn't stolen, nor borrowed
it exists for its truthfulness
however beaten it has to be
for the swelling stops only
in memory
within me resides doubt
and it too can be beaten
by the sticks of your revelation
aside from me
how would I know if you're any real?
these poems are not
I guess---
The trouble is that you are
Standing ovation
Satan was in heaven he got the juice to play an event inspired by an arcane glimpse of God's cosmic jokes a tenement worth of ironies tragedies will come to pass for tonight is blessed benevolence is swapped aspirations are answered a martyr will be made and a sacrifice will be gratified the devil but plays a role and the act is flawless God stood up clapping with affirmation the pronouncement of a seventh day.
Painted candy eyes
under the branches of the evening
she clung to me
like water and poetry she fed
young days have risen in my peak
as she wept motionless
she clung to me
while a grinding carelessness sips her mouth
until it begins, the sight dims
then bursts--
a million reckoning of the unknowing
inside a light she clung
into grass and rain
into silent warmed hands
emptied body--
the fullness of her memory
