Following intense diplomatic activity and international pressure, the UN Security Council unanimously agreed this July on the mandate of a joint African Union/UN Peacekeeping force to be deployed in Darfur. Many resolutions have been voted but the people of Darfur are still paying the price of inaction with their lives.
Because every day counts, activists from around the world are urging the international community and its leaders to demonstrate their commitment and deliver on the ground.

Make Some Noise has created a UN-blue "delivery note", a symbol for the millions of Darfuri voices crying out for protection from human rights abuses. Make their voices heard and spread the symbolic note in your community, town, school, on your blog and personal pages.
Print the template and personalise it with your own message. If you are feeling creative, become an artivist and take the blue note concept to a different medium: you may want to paint, spray or draw the note, make a poster collage... What matters is that you make the note as visible, public and accessible as possible.
As a final step, take a picture of your note and post it on the
Make Some Noise site , where the best efforts will be showcased. Remember! We do not want holiday snaps or family dinner portraits! By all means, stand by your note if you wish, but most importantly, demonstrate your creativity in supporting the people of Darfur.
