Few hours after the rock n roll rave live show, we are at Utopia, a new squat ( Montreuil ).
Cheveu and us just slept for a while this nite but we are all in a good mood.

Samedi 15 Juillet. Les rues sont bien calmes. Tout le monde comate. En fin d'apres-midi, c'est l'inauguration d'un nouveau squat a Montreuil. L'endroit est spacieux et l'ambiance est tout aussi calme qu'a l'exterieur. Dans la salle du fond, une petite scene a ete montee pour les concerts du soir et une sono a ete louee. Les deux premiers groupes du soir ont joue la veille dans une "rave rock'n'roll": deux experiences bien differentes d'apres leurs recits mais ils avaient tous deux l'envie de remettre ca. Cheveu se lance en premier pour un set assez court qui aurait gagne à durer plus longtemps si on en juge par la hargne de David sur leur hit "Clara Venus". Pour Cheveu chaque concert et meme chaque chanson developpe un univers different et differe d'un jour a l'autre, d'un moment a l'autre. Tout est magnifiquement imprevisible. L'expression "electron libre", bien galvaudee, semble leur coller parfaitement. Le nouveau duo Jacklean Kikuko, compose de Goldo Normal (guitariste de Crash Normal) et d'une danseuse/chanteuse japonaise, prend le relais par la suite. Goldo est a la guitare et aux machines (boites a rythmes plus de nombreuses pedales d'effet), il chante meme sur quelques titres - dont un downtempo absolument killer - et sa complice japonaise deploie une energie phenomenale en courses, roulades, acrobaties, danses et en chant bien sur. Sous des allures de femme-enfant elle ne menage pas ses efforts pour assurer le spectacle, mot auquel elle attache sans doute beaucoup d'importance. Au final meme si le groupe n'a que cinq ou six chansons, on est vite happe par leur show en roue libre ou chacun semble se "lacher" totalement. A suivre!

Utopia is a new squat for music and more.
5 guys got in this place by a small window. They decide first to live here and say no words about all of that. But this place is so incredible (i visit them last week and i can say that you don't see this kind of place so often near paris!) they decided to plan some shows (music, exhibitions...).
The 15th of July will be the very first open doors. They asked me to do something for this occasion. I suggest them to play live with JackLean Kikuko and Cheveu very early in the nite because AH_Kraken from Metz and pussy patrol will play around 21:00 at the Gambetta. So it could be a good way to start this RNR nite damned!

JackLean Kikuko gave the first "LiveShow" on the 21th of June : 4 songs for people in the street. That's all we could give for this moment, but we had a lot of fun... it is very exciting to play live after only a couple of repetitions. Massa dances like a springRoll right on the floor while it started to rain on OlenoKachi.
After this performance, it was about playing in a summer festival in july... maybe.

Jacklean Kikuko exists for 2 months. We played once, two weeks ago, 4 songs (that's all we have for this moment). I met massa 6 months ago when she moved from Grenoble. She used to dance with a Company all over the world. Now she's working on her own show with 2 guys who makes video and music (available in november). It makes a long time i'd like to play and sing with a japanese girl. It's not enough to make a band all right, i know that, but massa is japanese, she never played in a band before, and she sings like she ever did it. She's full of energy. This japanese-french duo will be a funny experience to us.
