I love how cowardly people are. For eight years, UN scarcely said a word against the almighty United States war machine. An unconstitutional war waged on false pretenses overseas, violating international laws, and the UN refused to take action. Now, months after Bush and the good ol' boys packed up and headed home, the UN is calling for action. The president of UN General Assembly says that the mistreatment of Iraqis in the conflict should be investigated. Seems a bit retroactive to me. Wouldn't inestigations accomplish more if they were carried out before the troops were being transferred to Afghanistan?

Another thing that I find humorous. It's generally agreed (apparantly) by both political parties on the ballot that withdrawl from Iraq is going to be along dangerous road. That the continuation of war is necessary. Why is it, then, that we can move to Afghanistan with no problem at all? We can't take the troops out of Iraq to go home, but we can take the troops out of Iraq so they can fight in Afghanistan. Riiiiiiight.

Wars overseas are costing American citizens $4000 dollars a day (that's the last figure I heard, but it could be more or less) and we're repaying huge amounts of interest to the Federal Reserve. Logically, you could cut a lot of costs by ending the war, and not doing business with the already illegal Fed. That's not the conclusion the US comes to. Nope. Instead, let's bail out failing industries which provide a small minority of jobs to the majority of Americans.

Obviously, the United States of America, or "The Corporation", have become this country's forefathers' worst nightmare. The contract that the states made with the District of Columbia has been stomped on, and our unaliable sovereignty has been forgotten.

Lady Gaga has a song "Beautiful Dirty Rich". Go to youtube and watch the video. I find it horrifying, however there are people who see nothing wrong with it at all. Anyways, every song I've heard from her appalls me, so I sent her a myspace message:
 
"I was curious to know the intention behind this track. The monetary system that we currently live in is based on debt. It's been this way since the conception of the federal reserve. In a dire economic situation, why would "lady gaga" make a song and video to match idolizing a federal reserve bank-note, the piece of paper that got us into this mess? America's education system is in trouble, and the way things have been going financially for the majority of Americans, both parents are either out of the home in search of a job, or out of the home trying to keep their children off the street. These kids are being raised by the television, specifically the entertainment channels. How can you, in good concsience, let a track like this be distributed to our youth, when what they need is real world perspective, and not unrealistic ideas of wealth and money? To those who just want to dance, why not make dance music that's not putting the dollar on a pedestal, or at least dance music with some kind of original thought or message? I doubt I will hear back even from "lady gaga"'s PR, but I would be happy with any response. "
 
I await a reply. Like I said, though, I doubt I'll recieve one.

I know I just posted a blog, but fuck it. I'm not done.
If you're not already aware, we live in a "democratic republic". That first word; was that a form of the word "democracy"?

Well yes it is.

Well what exactly is "democracy"? Does it mean that we can just sit idly by and let the federal government grow so large and powerful we can no longer contest it?

Despite what you've been told, NO.
What it means is this government is our government. It is a government of the people, for the people. This reminds of something. OH RIGHT! That would be the document that we're supposed to basing all of our judgements on as a government. THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE!! It starts "We the people", which, sure enough, sounds like a democratic government to me.
Being the government of the people for the people, shouldn't we be checking in on our federal government and what they've been up to? Shouldn't we be making sure it's not getting out of control?

I'm not talking about voting. We don't vote on bills like the patriot act or the bail-out plan. We didn't get to approve or disapprove the war in Iraq. Our "representatives" did. Now when these representatives are  recieving money from corporate lobbyists, and pass bills that go directly against our common goal, who are they representing?
When you talk to a random stranger on the street, how likely is it that they're going to be TRULY aware of the intricacies of the war in Iraq? Who will be able to give you details about what's happening in Israel, or Africa? Not very likely.

Well being a democratic world police force, shouldn't we all be involved?

Shouldn't there be any transparancy? Why are all the important shit with-held from us until so much later? If it's released to the public at all?

It's for our own good, right? We're too stupid to make reasonable decisions, right? Then let's put some fuckin' money into education! We put billions of dollars in federal reserve loans into financial institutions, war, and governmental salaries, but we cut education?
Let's take some personal responsibility here. We're the government, remember? Is this bullshit what we want?

Get rid of this failed capatalistic system and corrupt federal government. Why can't we have a resource-based economy? The constitution was disregarded when the private corporation called the federal reserve became our central bank. The monetary system we use today is on behalf of this unconstitutional central bank.

Countless billions have been spent to bail out the financial institutions, who are the main culprits for our current economic situation. These financial institutions are now foreclosing on home owners (Bye bye American dream) due to default of payment. So the motherfuckers that put the average American in the shit are now saving their own ass, despite the federal government handing them excessive amounts of money so they could hand their top executives bonuses and vacations.

Enter Ohio representative Marcy Kaptur, who's urging citizens to stay in their homes if they're sent a forclosure notice from a bank, and contact a lawyer. Thank you Marcy, for jumpstarting the fucking sheep.

The relatively unknown stipulation of this ridiculous bail-out plan, is that home-owners should recieve government aid as well as wall street.

Enter Wayne county (Michigan) sherrif Warren Evans, who is refusing to forcefully evict anymore home-owners until they've had their chance to recieve government aid. That's abiding by the goddamn law. Thank you, Warren.

Get with it, people. We spent 3000 dollars per person (and rising) to save these inefficient and faulty industries, and they go on an exotic vacation to escape the stress they've caused. They enjoy a nice evening in one of their multi-million dollar homes.

And we lose our jobs and homes.

Ever watch Star Wars? haha. Ever read 1984? Yall' are missing out. True, it's science fiction, but if it's been thought of, it can be done. Who's gonna get wit tha Empire and who's gonna rebel?

Israel is a very new country. It wasn't recognized as a country even 80 years ago. It began as eastern European zionist Jews started filtering into Palestine. In the first decade of the 1900's, a British mandate recognized the zionist Jews' rights to find a home in the holy land.
 
The zionists continued pouring in, and in the twenties, the newly formed United Nations appeased the Jews by splitting Palestine in half. One half would be for the influx of Jewish immigrants, and one half would be for the Palestinians.
 Jews poured in by the thousands during their persecution in Europe, going against a restriction on immigrants put in the UN appeasement. Shortly after this, the new colonists declared themselves independent and wholly Jewish, naming their "independent" state Israel. They were attacked on all sides by Egypt, Syria, and Palestine. Managing to drive them out, they started conquering nearby land, and made peace with Egypt and Syria. The outraged Palestinians were prone to brutality by the Isreali police.

In the last 15 or 20 years, America's government has given Israel more than 90 billion dollars. Our government has also lended political and moral support to them. We've given more to Isreal than almost any other country in the world. They used our money to gain a formidable military, and have been fighting with the Palestinians, who have resorted to suicide bombings, since they declared themselves an independent country.

In the shallow past, a cease-fire was reached. Hamas, a muslim political party, did not respect it. They fired rockets at Israel. In response, Isreal attacked Palestine without mercy, killing civilians and militants alike. Recently, they blew a school up, set fire to a hospital, and even managed to hit a UN office and destroy their food and medical supplies. They have been suspected of using experimental weapons, and weapons banned by UN. As of now, the Palestinian death toll has reached over 1000, and there has been little over ten deaths for Isreal. At least three of them have been friendly fire incidents.

Corporate media paints the light skinned Israelis as victims, only protecting themselves from senseless and violent attacks. The dark skinned Palestinians have been portrayed as evil savage terrorists, as most middle-eastern people have. Even in the New York times, Israel was allowed over ten paragraphs to justify their attack on the UN office. Palestine has not to my knowledge been offered any justification in any of America's mainstream news outlets.

I'm not a theology expert. I am fairly certain, however, that the Jewish good book states someting to the effect of "an eye for an eye". Not an eye for an eye, a nose, an arm, three toes, and several inner organs.

Americans are SUPPOSED to hold these truths to be self evident - that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Now I'm not saying we ever really did, but why are we letting the ideals outlined in the declaration of independence die? We are supporting what looks to be genocide, politically and economically.
 
AMMENDMENT: Obama, campaigning on a platform of negotiation and level-headedness, stated he will refuse to negotiate with the Hamas. He offers his support to Israel.

Everyone hear about this? A police officer took an un-armed man down from a bar train car, put him face down on the floor of the train platform, bound his hands behind him, and shot him, in front of hundreds of people, resulting in a fatality. Not that uncommon in California for a cop to shoot an innocent black man. The difference, much like the Rodney King incident, is that this one was caught on video and circulated. It resulted in a few nights of rioting in Oakland, and the police chief half-assed taking accountability for his cops in the field.
It took almost two weeks for the culprit of this homicide to be finally apprehended. He made it to Nevada. 

Why?

If I had committed the murder; in front of video phones, police and countless witnesses; If the police department knew my name and home address; If the police department knew what vehicle I would take on the run; I would not have been so lucky. The axe would have dropped quickly and efficiently. I would not have been able to leave the train station.

The district attourney stated

"Murder charges were filed, because, at this point, what I feel the evidence indicates is an unlawful killing done by an intentional act, and from the evidence we have, there is nothing that would mitigate that to something lower than a murder. That doesn’t mean that evidence might develop in the future that—particularly as it develops at trial, but at this point, when you have a homicide that is intentional and there’s no mitigation, it’s more or less presumed to be a second-degree murder." 

I guess that's fair, but it's not going to bring a father back into the world to parent his child.

How are we going to be enforced by police who don't respect the laws they're supposed to be enforcing? Take a look around, people. This is the world we live in. If you've had enough of it, I think it's high time we changed it.

I've tried to be open minded to all belief systems, and give them an honest chance. Even after I've written one off, I'll go back to it to make sure I haven't changed my mind. Time and time again, looking for truth in these systems, I find illogicality. I think the idea of a creator is not necessarily a ridiculous one. I see a small bit of  logic in that. For us to know anything about this creator's intentions, however, is just fucking ridiculous. To believe the universe was created just so we have a place to live our pathetic little lives is just fucking outrageous. I don't want to generalize individuals I meet of a particular faith. Shit, I've heard a lot of intelligent christians, mormons, and muslims. But I deeply believe that that thought process is an example of thinking small.

I know it's hard to think big. As humans in today's world, and especially as Americans, it's difficult to look at the world in any larger scale than what we go through day to day. There's all these distractions from looking at reality on a large scale. We've got TV; movies; holidays; rumors; celebrities; music; careers; status symbols; mortgages; bills; cell phones; alcohol; drugs; sex; lack of education. But I think we all need to remind ourselves how insignificant our role in the universe is more often.

It's the 21st century, and I would think that the archaic belief that the universe revolves around the earth would have died off by now, but no. People believe that some vindictive sentient being threw this universe together out of nothing just so we can run around and reak havoc in it. This is a narcissistic, pretentious, and elitist belief. Go out to the middle of an empty field alone. Lay down in the middle with no trees or buildings blocking your view, and look up at the clear night sky. See all those tiny pinpricks of light? Well those are stars, and galaxies filled with stars. I think we tend to forget how VAST and ENORMOUS our galaxy is. Not to mention how unimaginably huge our universe is. There are hundreds of TRILLIONS (think about that number; a trillion. It's unfathomably huge. And we're talking hundreds of trillions.) of stars winking at us. Hundreds of trillions of those stars have planets circling them. It was just a matter of time before concious organisms popped out.

I know the tide comes in and the tide goes out because the moon is in the perfect spot for it. I know the sun comes up and the sun goes down because we're rotating around it just right. I know there are obvious synchronicities allowing our existence, but it's not because of intelligent design. If things hadn't worked out that way here, we wouldn't be here to witness it. Since it did, here we are, questioning our reality. I'm sure there are much more interesting things going on elsewhere that aren't being recorded. We get hung up on how "miraculous" this all is, simply because we're here to see it.

I don't need some elaborate mythology to make me feel important in the universe. In fact, I don't want to feel important, because it would be a fucking lie. We are a civilization taking up half a quark making up the atoms that make up the matter we see that makes up the planet that makes up the solar system that makes up the galaxy that makes up the universe. WE'RE MINISCULE. And I'm guessing, based on how nature seems to operate, that there's a much larger world going on outside our known universe, and a much smaller world going on at a subatomic level.

I believe we're nothing more than a random act of nature. I think if people put away their pompous self-important beliefs that an omniscient being dedicated trillions of galaxies and unimaginable wonder to a bunch of weak-minded heathens just so they can wonder about all of it, the world would be in a much more sensible situation.

I'm not saying i've seen it and it sucks. I'm saying that you shouldn't give this production team money based on principle alone.

Isn't it interesting how the original movie carried with it a message of peace and regulation. Ahead of its time, it was a story about moderation. About tha evils of excessive force. A great story played out by a strong cast.

Now, in 200fucking8, they're remaking that classic film. Now, in lieu of peace and moderation, it's about explosions and big scary aliens attacking our poor lil planet. Its a bastardized echo of what once was a great picture, packed to tha brim with regurgitated action sequences and over done cgi animation.

Can anyone say PROPAGANDA FILM?????? Come on!!! They've twisted tha story completely around to be about military conflict. What a fuckin surprise, right? If you want to see The Day The Earth Stood Still, go to tha nearest rental place, and, if you can find it,(good luck) rent tha 1951 movie. Shit, hit me up, I think I have it around here somewhre. Its message is still relevant to today.

Why do we do tha things we do? Have you ever really sat down and thought about it? Just because it's been a tradition for a number of years, it doesn't mean it should necessarily be repeated.

Why should we continue this society we are living in? Furthermore, why should we protect and defend it? Why should this way of life be so sacred? What's so sacred about it? All our ridiculous material items that we hold so dear to us are really just on loan. Your home is just temporarily yours. Even when its paid off, you still have to pay for it. Even tha money you use to buy these things is not yours. Anything and everything can be taken from you. At any moment. That idea is far more terrifying than any outside terrorist threat corporate news crams down our throat.

Many people dream of tha high life that's been fed to us, filled with champaign and top billed actresses and models laying in satin sheets wearing lacy lingere. Gigantic cars with upgrades that serve no practical purpose. Shiny polished rocks and custom italian suits. While this vision is enticing, it's also a fantasy, nothing more. Tha likelihood of anyone in tha low or middle-class obtaining this level of wealth is laughable, but that small chance of attaining it becomes a justification to people for tha gross inequality of wealth at home or abroad.

While the New World Order is eroding tha middle class away, what we end up with is millions of people living beyond their means. Making payments on cars they can't really afford, spending entire paychecks on car modifications, and selling their souls to corporate America for tha pursuit of these false idols. Is it worth it? Remember that tha more comfortably you live; tha more you fill your life with fine china, corporate sponsored entertainment, candy paint, 24 inch rims, shiny fuckin dentures, and thousand acre lands, you are not only becoming more dependent on tha system, but you are also undoubtedly depriving someone somewhere of their ability to properly feed, clothe, and house themselves.

What are you honestly getting out of this capatalist, market-driven economy? False security, a deep emptiness, and slavery.

It doesn't have to be like this. There's enough food and land for everyone in tha world to comfortably live, and your a fool if you believe otherwise. Tha problem is that people are driven, through economic manipulation, to small areas and then cut off from any outside support. That is why there's overpopulation. But people stay nihilistic, enveloped by daydreams of a false image of wealth purported by tha mass media.

Do you know what you are when you do everything tha idiot box tells you? A FUCKIN IDIOT!


WAKE UP!!!
