............
To take you through how our day at the vans warped tour
went...
Mid Night - 1 am: Packing up and leaving a basement show(which rocked by
the way)
1am to 2am: Band Sleep over / Not sleeping when we should of been
sleeping
2am to 5am: Sleepy time for Chris and P.j. Epic fail for Zach and Brad
as they got not even one minute of sleep =(
5am to 6am: Waking up, (or not pending on the member) packing up,
getting food and water so we wouldn’t have to pay for the over priced warped
tour food and drinks and heading to Adina's house(the greatest person in the
world who was nice enough to wake up early and drive us). Also dong had to
sneak out of his house. His parents made him quit the band last year when he
got a C+ in honors chemistry 3
6 am: Leaving for the show. (Thanks again Adina)
8am to 9:30 am: Arriving at the show. Sitting around outside of the fest
because none of security believed we were actually in a band. Why do we have to
dress so casually? Next time it's tight jeans, straightened hair, and glasses
that are to cool for us.
9:30am to 10:am Finally we get passes and are allowed to start bringing
in our gear, which meant making several trips on foot to and from the main
parking lot through the fest to our stage
10am to 11am: Killing time. Arguing about where our merch table should
go and bitching about A) How we should have brought a merch tent and B) How we
should have brought a dolly or something on wheels to bring all our equipment
in and out.
11am to 1pm: Wandering around. Not doing anything
(I'm going to stop labeling all the times with a "am" or
"pm", I’m sure you can all catch on)
1 to 1:30: Warming up, getting nervous. Complaining about how we should have
practiced that week but couldn’t cause Chris was away and didn’t get back till
the day before.
1:30 to 2:00: Show time. Played a really really really fun show. Big crowd
of people who weren't just our close friends and they all seemed to really
enjoy it and get in to it. =) Our stage was right behind Big D's tent and I think they were doing a signing while we were playing so I think we got a lot of their crowd. Also, the people running the Hellcat Records tent came over to watch us because they heard us from a far and apparently really liked us. I'm sure they'll sign us to a multi album contract any day now.
2:00 to 2:45: Talking to all the people at our merch table. Rushing to
pack up and run all our stuff out to the car in time to make it back to catch
streetlight.
2:45 to 3:15: STREETLIGHT MANIFESTO! So good. Could go on and on about
how much we love this band and how much fun we have every time we see them
3:55 to 4:30: Less Than Jake.
.. ..
4:55 to 5:30: NOFX.(Chris swings by
the LTJ signing, chats it up with Vinnie and slips him a demo. (I'm sure we'll
also be hearing from him any day now)
5:45 to 6:15: Big D and the Kids Table
6:15 to 6:30: Catch the tail end of Flogging Molly’s set.
6:45 to 7:30: Hitting up a bit of Westbound Train. Some of Bad Religion,
and heading out for the long ride home. (Also in the parking lot we found a can
of pink hair spray and made dongs hair pink and wrote Ska! on the back of brads
head.
7:30 to 9: TRAFFIC!!!! Hooray. Going for pizza. Complaining about how
sore and burnt we are and raving about how much fun we had and how well
everything went.
To the 5 of you who actually read this, thanks, and Chris lee owes you a
cookie.

.................... Hello again,
For the most part, we've been taking it kind of easy these past 6 or so months but now we are back in full force. Starting with our May 30th show at the Starland Ballroom. This time we're playing in a battle of the bands for warped tour. There aren't multiple rounds or anything. Just this one show, come out and support us and if we place in the top 3 out of 15 bands we get a slot on the 2009 Vans Warped Tour NJ date. We are selling tickets in advance for $12. We can deliver tickets, meet you somewhere, mail you tickets. We will figure something out. We need all the support we can get, so please come to this show.
Thanks
Kbye

Let me tell you about this boy adam. he is probably my height, maybe a little taller, he has long sexy brown curly hair, and he LOVES horse the band. in that mind of his contains awesome ideas and talent.(No homo...) On this website contains just...awesomeness...i can't even tell you who chose to read this blog, the things that are in this website, but let me just tell you that you shall be flattered-to the max. adam facciolla (one of the coolest people in the world besides michael jordan, rick warren, and armen abrimian,) is currently working on our website at his college over at Loyola. It shall be done probably by May? DON'T YELL AT ME IF ITS NOT DONE BY THEN@#!@#!@ Roar. but yeah it's fucking awesome. -brad

Hey guys....It's Chris to the Lee to the lmnoppr (RIP). Did anyone go to their last show on wednesday night at Joe Conti's house. It was fun, epic, and emotional, especially for PJ and Eric. We'll miss you guys.
So anyways...We finally finished this Jersey Shows BOTB shit that's been going on for like 9 fucking months. And we placed in 4th place. How about that, huh? Out of 300 bands all over New Jersey, we ranked 4th. That's not too shabby. We were beat by Ministry of Pain (SO BRUTAL!!!!!!!!!!!!), Elodie, and our new friends Solfege Radio. Do Re Mi Fa So motherfuckers. These guys were cool and if we should've been beat by anyone in this whole competetion, it should've been to these guys. (AND NOT WHAT'S THE SCOOP THOSE GUYS ARE DUMB AND LAME! YEAH I SAID IT). What was even cooler was that when Solfege Radio went to collect their prize, Joey started a S-K-S-C chant and that warmed my heart. Thanks guys. What was even cooler was when Tony Muccio started a U-S-A chant, which was hilarious and Elie Abraham took Dong's Sat practice book and started a SAT chant.
So anyways, onto what's next. This year were hoping to get more shows outside of Bergen County in attempts to expand and strengthen our fan base. With P.j off at college we will not be selling tickets to as many shows but the ones we will be selling tickets for will be epic and amazing. For example, Ska Is Dead is throwing a Skanksgiving show at Starland with Big D, BTMI!, Mustard Plug, and much more. And they have asked us to play as an opener, which is freaking SICK. It's funny how 2 years ago I would do anything to open for these bands, and now, "DREAMS REALLY DO COME TRUUUUUUEEEEEEE!" (no homo). And also, be prepared because we're gonna be putting up new songs soon. And keep your eyes open for a split with Rushmore x3
kbye.
P.S. Watch School of Rock if you wanna find out about our adventure with this BOTB and thank you jersey shows for all the support, and awesome shows
P.p.s. We have a dvd of our last jersey shows performance at starland and its pretty decent quality, if you are interested in seeing it or obtaining a copy just let us know.

Hello world. It's chrislee here. Just felt like giving interested people a recap of the past year so far. So sksc has had the same lineup (more or less) since August, and I would like to be the first one to say that this is it. These are the right musicians. We're finally making AND producing functional music. And we've finally created something that we can say our own. We've played a shitload of shows this past year too. We've played at the Knitting Factory. We've played at the Mainstage on numerous occasions. We've even played in random towns and had a lot of fun in the middle of nowhere. We recorded a ep (The Pilot) and we're proud of it...kind of
Now for what's coming up. First and foremost, we're playing at the motherfucking Starland Ballroom this sunday. It's gonna be one of the biggest shows we have ever played in our entire lives. I really all of you guys stop by and check us out. It's gonna be fuuuuuun. Second, we're recording our first full length. It's gonna be called Modi (yes, after Sushaan Modi). There's gonna be songs you have and have not heard before. That will be coming out around August/September(ish). Finally, the upcoming year. PJ, our beloved trumpet player, is off to college. Rowan college if you want to know. However, he's still gonna be in the band and play with us. What we're gonna do is slighty tone it down with the shows. But I didn't say we're gonna stop..
Alright, internet. I'm gonna go watch Avatar: the Last Air Bender now. Laters.

Current mood: excited
in exactly 7 days, (or we suppose), Zach Sandel, the drummer of SkSc, Brad Rosenberg(myself), the bass guitarist/vocalist of SkSc, and Rick Warren(God_Zeus_Jesus) will be going on a road trip. That road trip, will be not only the greatest trip, but a trip to the zoo of the Bronx. First, we will call Rick Warren, and then tell him our plans, and then he will inevitibly ask if we are stoned and we will respond with a "OF COURSE NOT!" And then, Zachariah, rick and myself will go off to the Bronx Zoo. Now you see, this has been a goal of mine for a very long time; (to try to get Zach to go to the zoo) because i was taking a shit at his house one day and i spotted a video in the bathroom and it said, "Zach Sandel Goes to the Zoo!" And i brought it up in a later conversation with him and he said, "oh...oh yeah...i went to the zoo with my parents when i was like 3." It has been 15 years. 15 years too long. The giraffes are waiting...and Zach Sandel, Rick Warren and I have only one week to prepare for this marvelous journey (which will probably be documented by the one and only Tony muccio or Dennis Samsey IDN!!!@!@) but yes... it shall be grand... k byyyyyyyyye
