French Car Network is the hot new social networking website for French car owners and French car owners clubs. Founded in February 2009 by John Blackmore and Lee Phipps the French Car Network has been started with the aim to bring together the French car community in the UK in a way that has not previously been tried.

So I've finally graduated! Three years just seen to fly by and before I know it my University life is over and now I'm back out in the big bad(?) world. Luckily for me I have managed to get a BSc 1st in Computer Science so I must have done at least some work while I was at Cardiff.

Now I'm working as a web developer in Bristol for an insurance broker specialising in public liability insurance. At first I was worried about getting used to the early starts but the early morning commute is not as bad as I had expected. The work is good and the company is really going places so give it a year or so and who knows where I'll be (probably looking for work knowing my luck).

On the side work on my own websites is going through a number of changes. I am currently putting the final touches to a project I have been working on over the last month or so. It's a photo rating and commenting platform which I will probably be releasing the source code for anyone to extend. It will be my first web application so don't expect it to be snapped up by Google for a six figure sum any time soon.

I'm also building up a nice portfolio of websites that I am creating and maintaining for clients, and I'm looking for more work so if you need a website knocking up give me a shout. Obviously there are mates rates discounts for anyone who knows me.

Wow, I've just written more in the last 5 minutes than I probably have since I left uni, so now I think is a very good place to stop. You never know, I might write another blog post in six months or so.

Apologies for not replying, to be honest I only log on about once a month and never for very long.

Quick update, very busy at uni at the moment, lots of coursework and not enough hours in the day. It doesn't help that there are so many xmas parties happing as well so when i'm not studying i seem to be partying instead. Oh well, hard life being a student!

On a light note this weekeing I am going to watch the WRC special stages at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. Not only that but the Cardiff Uni Motorsports Club have been invited to meet and greet with the drivers tonight (Thursday). Should be fun.
