So, as i pack my bag and get ready to fly west i can confirm another show this week.
We're playing with the Subways and Blackmarket on Friday night at the Troubadour.
We hit at 8.30 and the address is 9081 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA90069. My previous band The Twentytwos did a stint with the Subways in Europe a year or two back and i can tell you that they are a fantastic live band.
I'm super excited to get over there and play. Stay tuned cos we might have more stuff to come!

It's been a while since i last spoke to you and really out of not knowing what to say about the status with Arckid.
The truth is we are in a state of premature retirement. As some of you may be aware we were joined by Richard Steel for a couple of shows last year. This gave way to inevitable conversations about reforming Spacehog. I can now tell you that we are going to start work on a new Hog record next week in LA and if you are in the area we are going to play the Viper Room in Hollywood on Monday (28th) at 11pm.
Christian Langdon is very much in our lives and our hearts. Apart from djing fancy parties with me in We.R.D2 he's been a busy bee writing his own music. He is also has the Kid Symphony tune 'Hands On The Money' on "The Love Guru" soundtrack, check it out.
We all want to say a big thanks to those of you who came to a show, bought a teeshirt, litened to the music or just wrote to say hello. Please stay tuned for the next adventure!

As you may be aware, we parted ways with big brother, Antony Langdon late last year.
Funny guy that Antony Langdon. I've shared some brilliant experiences with him during the Spacehog years and love him off. He has left us with two beautiful songs in the form of Germany and Conversation. But I think we all knew his time as a band member was up.
Enter Mat Steel, cuddly, super cute, majestic axe god from Otley (no relation to Richard that we know of). He has filled in for Antony with grace, verve and a right pair of guns to honor our comittments this far. In true Spinal Tap fashion he is now returning to his main project; Your Vegas to ink a deal with Universal and record their debut.
So now the hunt is on for a similarly youthful talented, tasty guitar player to continue on our journey. We have shows in New York and LA in late April, an event for Hugo Boss at the Coachella festival and have just been confirmed as the only unsigned band to appear at Lollapalozza in Chicago on August 4th. In addition we are in the process of recording our debut album and in dialogue with various record labels to distribute.

Hello to the world of ARCKID.

We have had a great week this week, The shoot for the vid was amazing as Jonny has already written about. We have just had "I'll Stick Around" remixed by Eric Rosse in L.A and is sound awesome, its going to accompany the video. I think this is the turning point its time to "kick arse !"

I just feel so excited, we are back in L.A in a month, i cant wait to see the vid, as soon as we can we will post it so you guys can check it, then tell your friends, spread the word,

Crickey....I'm hurtin'
we just finished shooting our video in LA directed by our friend and champion Mr Joaquin Phoenix. Shot entirely in slow motion, it features the band performing 'Stick Around' whilst being abused by various ladies who took time out of their busy schedules to beat us up. Joaquins' sister Summer singled me out for a good thumpin' and i am virtually in traction after headbanging my way through multiple takes of the song (already on the fast side) at double speed in order to create the desired effect. Liv dusted down the boxing gloves and was surprisingly eager to drive to the studio and give Royston a good pasting. You'll be relieved to know that Leggy and Mat also smashed it with riveting performances 'pretending' to get some at the hands of their disenchanted partners.
We would like to say thankyou to Hugo Boss who made this project possible and to everyone who put their time in to create what we hope will be a genius little film,
