Current mood:  curious
So about the healthcare bill, the president is trying to pass...

I keep reading all sorts of things...and I can't help but feel misinformed.

Only because most of the people arguing on the topic haven't even read the more than 200 page bill.

Even if they did read it would it be comprehended?

eh....can anyone shed light on this..

It's tough because I feel like the people in my generation are most likely to be affected by this including the elder.

anywho comment if you can..

Leaving for San diego tomorrow...

to open up for the "Divas for Divas" concert tour...featuring 4 filipino stars...

Zsa Zsa Padillia, Regine Velasquez, Kuh Ledesma, and Pops Fernandez...

In particular, Regine Velasquez really inspired my singing growing up, I used to sing all her "high note" ballads...she caused me to want to practice on singing haha....and karaoke. Like every good asian family has a karaoke =0)

Anywho I'm stoked also to visit my friend in LA Mr. Mike Argueles, who is also an amazing musician so I'm going to have him play with me.

Also mom is tagging along as my Merch lady so it ill be good for her to get a vacation.

I'm so stoked to get out of the state hehe!!!

Been kinda having a writers block...

It's good to keep writing though and keep being inspired..

I'm also reading this book by Jimmy Webb a famous songwriter and he talks about methods and whatnot..

I always get caught up in the fact that allot of times when I write songs...my chord changes aren't always interesting...

Meaning I don't use allot of "colorful" chords when writing. For some this makes a song dull. or the melodies are "generic"...

But in this book I read the most important thing is the lyric.

This kinda reminds me of Taylor Swift. I used to look down on her for seeming like a "cookie-cutter" "label-made" artist...her melodies and chords don't seem very different to me...but as I read her lyrics I realized she was a word-genius.

She tells great stories in the matter of 3-4 mins in a song. Also kinda Like Dolly Parton...another under-rated artist because of her celeb-status....and yet from the beginning she was always an amazing lyricist.

Anywho, I'm just gonna keep writing we can change the chords later, as long as I can come of with more creative ways to tell a story, we're good.
