We're scheduled to hit the studio at the end of the month to record 5 brand new songs!
Once we've gotten all our new material finished, we'll be looking to do a few shows to prepare for our cd release in March. We cannot wait to start playing shows again, and we hope to see all your beautiful faces!
We'll have new promos, layouts, and a video blog up soon!
now's a good time to START GETTING EXCITED!

So its time to give some updates on the band.
We're going to start writing new material the end of the this month.
We're not playing as many shows and will be keeping it that way until the end of 2009, so it gives us enough time to really work on new songs and work them into our set.
We're also announcing in this blog that Adam and AJ will be leaving the band after our show on October 17th.
There's nothing personal about this decision. At all. Both Adam and AJ are part of this family and have been for a very long time. They will be graduating from high school at the end of this school year and they are planning on going to college next year. Although we are very proud that they want to continue on with their education, the rest of the band (Porter, Corey, Adrian, Jake, and I) want to start touring full time as soon as we can. If AJ and Adam are in school, it would make touring full time impossible.
We wish them the best of luck, and will continue to be friends with them.
Their last show in Maesion will be October 17th at Mr. Smalls, which is also Remember Thy Name's last show. We have tickets for this show, so hit us up!!!
MORE UPDATES, NEW PROMOS, NEW LAYOUT, AND NEW MUSIC COMING SOON!!!
We're eternally grateful for the support we've had over the last year as a band, and we hope this support continues for many more years. We are by no means finished as a band. Thanks you. We love you.

So we figured a good way to keep in contact with everyone while we're out on the road is to keep a tour blog going, and we hope we can manage to access the MySpace to update it as much as possible.
So far so good.
Friday, August 7th - Foggy Hollow Music Company in Jonesville, VA
We drove almost 8 hours from Pittsburgh to arrive in Jonesville, Virginia (after driving through Virginia into Tennessee then back into Virginia). When we arrived at approximately 6:30 in the evening, we thought we were running late.
Well, then we thought the show was cancelled. It was 6:30 in the evening and no one is at the venue, and there's a padlock in the door. After considering what to do, we decided to call the number posted on the window of the venue. A seemingly very uninterested man answered the phone and told us no one would be there until at least 7:30.
Although initially put off by such a late starting show, we rejoiced that we didn't drive almost 8 hours for nothing.
Oh, and the show kicked ass.
Saturday, August 8th - The Ultimate Basement Venue in Mill Springs, NC
This time, it was less of a drive. We drove 3 hours from our good buddy Cory's house in VA and scaled and descended and weaved through a few mountains to arrive at The Ultimate Basement Venue in lovely Mill Springs, North Carolina.
When we arrived, the owner, Dave, was quick to greet us and shake our hands. So far, so good. We later learn that the last few shows Dave has done, no people have shown up to watch.
That puts a damper on things.
On top of that, there isn't enough equipment to support us (three vocalist seemed cool at the time, haha).
So we decide to not waste the time unloading and reloading the van and just hang out in Mill Springs.
Everyone here was extremely kind and Dave, the owner, let us stay here, and play as many video games as we wanted.
Sunday, August 9th - Charlotte's Underground, Charlotte, North Carolina
Charlotte's Underground was a sweet little place not far outside of downtown Charlotte.
Unfortunately, no one showed up to the show. We managed to play for Hope Runs Deep, and three members of the opening act (who drove three hours to play for us).
Although the show was a bust, we had a great time hanging with out buddies in Hope Runs Deep.
The Tour Cancellation Story...
After the Charlotte show, as we were on our way to Wilmington to spend our day off on the beach before the Lampstand Lightclub show.
David, from Hope Runs Deep, received an email from the venue saying that the show on August 11th was cancelled.
This really wouldn't have been a huge deal, as these things do happen while on tour, but it wasn't the only venue who canceled on us.
This was the remainder of the tour schedule after August 9th.
Monday, August 10th - Off day Tuesday, August 11th - The Lampstand Lightclub - Canceled Wednesday, August 12th- Vito's Rock And Roll Pizzeria - Canceled Thursday, August 13th - Off day Friday, August 14th - The Dungeon, Orlando, FL Saturday, August 15th - Marion Street Cafe, Lake City, FL Sunday, August 16th - The Lions Den - Canceled Monday, August 17th - Alley Katz - Canceled Tuesday, August 18th - The Keynote Cafe, Jeanette, PA
So as you can see, we were scheduled to do 3 shows over the next week and a half.
With this being our third tour this summer, our personal funds we're running low, and due to the weak turn outs of the last two shows in our tour, the band funds we're running low. Instead of being stuck somewhere for 4 days without playing a tour, we all decided to just come home.
This was not the way we wanted things to turn out. At all. We are very sorry to anyone who was planning on coming out to see us, and we are appreciative that you planned on seeing us play. We hope that we'll come back to your town as soon as possible.
We have decided now that we're home, we're gonna slow down our show schedule.
We will still be playing shows, but just not as many as we have over the last 6 months.
We will also be working hard on new material, with the hopes of putting out a new album sometime in the spring or early summer of 2010. So get excited.

Give me a year and a day To try and find the words to say You were my worst enemy You bring the worst out in me
Is this the way its supposed to be A bloody death, a memory? I still love you. You took my hand and said "believe" You couldn't care to say the least I still love you.
I have half a mind to Leave you on your bedroom floor I have half a mind to Leave you on your bedroom floor
Is this the way its suppose to be? A bloody death, a memory? You took my hand and said "believe" You couldn't care to say the least
