1bit 026: Glander - "Vate"

How Glander became part of our family is one more of those wonderful
stories how music can connect people: As we approached him for a release
on our label, he had already been working on tracks for us. After his
highly acclaimed debut on our last compilation, Glander delivers six
more tracks for 1bit 026. Melodies and sounds in constant transaction,
chords echoing into deep space, all carried by solid bass lines. And to
put the icing on the cake, Daniel Stefanik - dub brother in mind -
returns to netaudio with one of his inimitable reshapes, developing
"Zavial" into a real epic.

7x MP3, 256kbit/s, whole release including cover as ZIP-file: 121 MB

1bit 025: Various Artists - "Celebration Compilation 3"

Glander - Haecho

Release-Text:

It took us a long time to get this collection done, but finally we have
a new compilation! And again, it's a perfect cross section of the sound
of 1bit. Starting with pumpin' minimal tech the journey continues via
dub and funk to reach its end with beautiful electronica and rough blues
sounds. Old faces meet new artists - great talent joining the 1bit
family. Have a listen and join us in looking forward to another year of
1bit sounds!

13x MP3, 256kbit/s, whole release including cover as ZIP-file: 142 MB

Glander : Heavy Weights

The tracks on "Heavy Weights" really keep their promise.
Each song has its own little world with plenty of room and its own life.
And Glander takes a lot of time for these songs. The length of them
seems to be unusual at the first glance but soon you'll understand that
this is part of their secret.
The tracks are captivating, some even hyptnotising. Hearing them, you
will move your feet unconsciously. But you cannot make out their style:
There are four fourths, of course, but they are too bassy and dark to be
House - and too smooth for being Techno.
Nevertheless, it doesn't matter: The tracks will take you on a dive
cruise, each of them has its own little valley and its own moon.
So: Take your time.

glander contributes to the first "clear-cut-records-compilation".

glander - changes

Release-Text:

the four tracks of the compilation shows us a wide range of minimal_moment_styles.
"a new hope" by angel galán is a deep journey wich follows the roots of his first
release for c-c-rec.
asferico brings us a melodic flowing "cinco cactus" and glander is breaking the
silence with "changes", a minimalistic track with broken sequences and electro bits
and pieces. closing the ep with "script" by funkzelle, a powerful 4x4 track for crazy
clubnights.
check out four special and individual minimal moments, brought together on
"clear cuts_a compilation_ep_vol.1".
