Attention everyone in the blogosphere--have we got some new stuff for you.
As you have probably noticed, we've made some changes. The Attraction is now Eli, Mike, Evan and Matt. We're still the Attraction, but not the Attraction you might be used to. We have a new song called "Stay" on our player that we're all really proud of. We've got a whole bunch of other new songs that we'd love to play for you at the shows listed on our page. And we're planning on doing a lot more as time goes on.
There wasn't a whole lot of activity from the Attraction for awhile. We're back. Things are happening. We'd love it if you were along for the ride.

The Attraction are made of fellows by the names of Eli (whose measured vocals evoke a violent smash-up of Pete Wentz and—yes—Dave Grohl), bassist Ben-ja, Danny on lead guitar, Brad (fiddling on the keys), and drummer Aaron. The result is an arrangement rife with a hard rock sound and words like open wounds give this album a feel something comparable to pointy claws and teeth on a kicked-around pup. Right from the off the album takes a fierce pace with "The Bleeding"—an aptly-titled song for what is a letting of emotion. The presence of energy is utterly vibrant from the jump and is perhaps one of The Attraction's gifts to music; in particular, shocking back to life the flailing Emo-fish. While decidedly morose lyrically, it's the nuances of a crying or angry guitar or delicate piano work that produces a confidant, if not, sprightly anti-despair sentiment. The earnest rapture of instrumental electricity at the album's start is a perpetual marinating of chords and crescendos that won't leave any listener wanting. Hey everyone!
Thanks for holding down and waiting. We've been working really hard behind the scenes here to get everything rolling!
MEMBERS
We have revamped the lineup and now have the permanent members on board. We've added two new members.
Ben Soleim, formerly of White Hot Knife and Drop the One, is our new bassist. He is a phenomenal player and an awesome guy so we are SO glad to have him aboard.
Dale Salentiny, formerly of The Eclectics and The Dutchman, is the man behind the kit. He makes it look easy, and is an amazing addition to the band.
SONGS
As you have noticed, Drop the L and This Ghost Town have been posted.
We are honing our set list and are all very happy with it!
LAYOUT
Along with all of the other changes, we've decided to change up the Myspace page as well. We will be taking new promotional photos within the next few weeks. They will be posted as soon as we have them.
SHOWS
We are all SO EXCITED about this part. We have 3-4 shows lined up for the next few weeks, the first being the week of October 15th. As soon as we have the for sure details for you, we will post them!
Again guys, thank you all SO MUCH for holding on and being patient! We are running at full throttle and will be bringing you TONS of new updates in the next upcoming days/weeks!
