on the 23rd of may the original august moon (mancherster ave single) line up of tony on guitar alan gill on bass lyndsay woodhall on drums phillipa edwards on sax and lee fowler on keyboards get together at the backdoor project in rochdale at 8pm for what would have been our late bandmates 40th birthday there will be music from all bobs friends (and there are lots of them) exbands and others will be playing too.this will be the bands 1st gig in 15 years and the 1st one without bob we hope to do more in the future we cant replace bob who was a one off and a top chap to all who knew him god bless you bob hope to see old friends and new.

bob was like a brother at times in my life and i am so sad at him going when ever i saw him he was the same as when i met him when he was 16 a good laugh a serious side allways apleasure to be around agreat musician who could play an pick up on the feelings ov the people around him his family were the same you couldnt wish for nicer people our vicky sends her love weve had a cry i dont know when we will laugh but we will because to be around bob fell was allways special i raise a glass ov red wine to you bob god bless(if life goes on illsee your face in the sun savouring your cigarette smoke telling jokes an iff heavan exsists as the laughter ov children insists tell the rock n roll band in the clouds to turn it up when my time comes round) love mate tony
