Reluctently it seems, the season shifts to Spring,

heralded by the buzzing bees and birds a-chirping.

The groaning frosts of the Winter subside

a reawakening of life, no more freeze-dried.

Delighted I feel, but still a complaint

lingers internal, awaiting a vent.

Fraying rope, that bit by bit

begins to untwist and I'm loosing my grip.

The trees rolled-up leaves

like wizards gaping sleeves

special tricks and secrets

within their folds concealed.

Hanging on to a dream with every fingertip

Breathe still steam, mouth lacking spit

Undisclosed secrets are swallowed down hard

I may be poetic but i'm not a bard.

And there's a promise in spring, that's sprinkled like dust

cold regrets rot like compost and nothing but trust

but fertility's not lost for the future is mine

with nurturing love will i thwart hope's decline.

Up through the endless swathe of rotting forest debris

the glint of amethyst coloured violets grow so bonny.

The elegant nod of a daffodil's head

reminds me this spring that God is not dead.

Some call it wanderlust

but isn't it my right, to just

roll around this earth-

until I have my fill

of its length and its girth?

I've had itchy feet since birth.

My mum was on the pill

when I was conceived.

It eased her monthly bleed-

and gave her some relief,

when it did come round.

But I was born through a frown

with two distant eyes of deepest brown.

This flutter in my belly

Better not be a baby

Cos there's just no room

in my journey or my womb

for another pair of itchy feet

to care for or to clean.

I'm not good in teams;

I prefer to do alone

my roam, from home to home

and when I get lonely

I've got friends to phone.

I travel light-on-luggage,

but bulky, emotional-baggage

comes with me wherever I go.

It's stowed in my internal hold

underneath layers far below-

so quick to swell; but to leave, so slow.

I'm thinking of getting a dog:

I'd christen him 'Bones '.

I'd train him off the lead-

he should be free to roam-

like me.  'Dog's best friend'-

I wouldn't be his master.

He can walk me  home,

when I've been out, getting plastered.

In other peoples' places,

round the table; with strange faces,

I do sometimes wish I had

a little flat or a single's pad

to call my own: to call my home.

But walls have ears

and inspire in me fears

And doors have hands to hold you down

And the brown letters on the doormat

will throttle you and that is that.

I'm on pay as you go

cos I can't sign contracts.

I'm enduringly brown;

not fashion's 'new black'

I move in tic-tac;

I don't take strides.

I resist looking back.

I like to take my time.

I don't 'wash and go';

or pay any council tax.

It's better this way

And I'm never going back.

I'm not on the run; I'm just having fun.

I'm not on the run; I'm just having fun.

Your Heart's Desire number is 9

You want to be of service to the world. Your deepest satisfaction comes from knowing that you have advanced the cause of humanity. Your ideals are of the highest order. You are a perfectionist. You strive to make the world a utopia; to make each person's lot in life better; to become perfect yourself. One of your challenges in life is to strive toward your lofty goals and at the same time recognize the good you are doing. You like and are fascinated by people from all walks of life. Human nature is a lifelong study for you. You are highly intuitive, but not an especially good judge of character. You are a bit naive, as well, thinking perhaps that all people have the same values as you. You dream of having the resources to immediately relieve the suffering of others, whether it is economic, physical, or psychological. You are gifted with a good mind and a great deal of wisdom, which makes you a natural teacher, counselor, or healer.

You are attracted to the arts as a vocation, especially as a photographer or writer. But whatever your profession, any involvement in the arts, even as a hobby, will provide you with a deep and lasting satisfaction. Secretly, you dream of having a big impact on the world. Others may see this as egotism, especially when you are still young. But your concern for others is genuine. You must apply yourself in this direction in order to become psychologically whole and personally satisfied. Your vision is on the crowds of people, which can cause you to overlook the needs of those closest to you. You need personal love as well, but have a tendency to put your needs in the background. Still, you are a loving person, and only need to be reminded to direct and demonstrate that love to those nearby. If, however, you are focused exclusively on the masses, people will perceive you as distant and a bit aloof.

You are emotional, and sensitive. You can also be moody and critical. You have high expectations for yourself and others. This can cause you much anger when your expectations are unfulfilled. One of your most important life lessons is to forgive. Because you are striving hard to attain high ideals, you may think of yourself as superior to others. Arrogance is a trap many 9s fall into. The danger is that arrogance cuts you off from the thing you love the most: people. Your happiness and contentment are therefore highly dependant on the ease with which you are able to serve and influence mankind. It is the paradox of your Heart's Desire that you receive by giving. Both your material success and spiritual satisfaction are made possible through service and sacrifice to others

Your Life Path (sometimes called Destiny) is derived from your birth date. Your Life path is the road you are traveling. It reveals the opportunities and challenges you will face in life. Your Life Path number is the single most important information available in your Personality Chart!

The key to your personality is freedom. You love travel, adventure, variety and meeting new people. You possess the curiosity of a cat and long to experience all of life. You love to be involved in several things at the same time as long as you are not tied down to any one area. You like change, new things and new horizons. You make friends easily, your personality is upbeat and often inspiring attracting people from all walks of life.

You have a way of words and an uncanny ability to motivate others. You can be in sales, advertising, publicity, promotion, politics or any profession that requires your communication skills and understanding of people. You likely lack discipline and order. You can also be impulsive, doing or expressing things you regret later. Freedom and a need for adventure sometimes is not properly controlled by those born with this Life Path, causing problems with drug abuse, overindulgence in food or sex, or generally abusing the gift of life. You are sensual and love to taste all of life. Sex, food and other sensory experiences are essential to the enjoyment of your life. You find it difficult to commit to one relationship, but once committed you can be as faithful as an old dog. You are multi-talented and possess a variety of diverse abilities. However, discipline and focus are the true keys to your success. Without these many of the tasks you begin will remain unfinished and you will fail to realize the true fruits of your abilities. With hard work and perseverance the sky is the limit. You may have been perceived as a wild child by adults and a source of concern by your family. However, do not be obliged to hurry your choice of career. You are often a late-bloomer and need to experience life before you can truly know and commit to your heart's desire. Your challenge is to learn the true meaning of freedom. Change is constant in your world requiring adaptability and courage. Try to maintain an exercise program, keep your body in shape and limber. The flexibility and durability of your body will promote security and confidence within you.

You yearn for freedom and self-employment attracts you powerfully.  Your challenge is to settle into one area to cultivate your ability sufficiently  to earn a living and attain success. Once you find your niche the motivation  and inspiration you supply others will bring you much in return, you will find your friends and colleagues supporting and promoting you on the road to success.

 CALL FOR HELP.

There is a battle for land right here where

I stand

It's a strange kind of irony to look to the band

Where the sky meets the land as far as the eye can see

And see nothing but space and grass and fields

And the farmers who farm sheep and the fences that keep

them from roaming around keep people from stewarding ground.

Folk who know how to grow consciously

Folk for whom sowing seeds that grow fruitfully is inherent in their destiny.

For their communities and their families; our  future their integrity.

On grass the sheep feed

Where vege beds and fruit trees

Could be.

How much meat do we need?

To feed our greed?

How many sheep will bleed?

How many planes will speed?

Through the clouds to carry food

Grown under plastic abroad

Who to blame? Who's the fraud?

Who to shame? You know the score.

The cherry tomato itself isn't our enemy

No, we must take more responsibility

We're in an all out civil warfare

With ourselves, our inner consumer

The year round strawberry eater

The all year nature beater

Well we're about to defeat her

Cos she's gasping for breathe

We're dicing with death.

In our communities and our families;

 our future our integrity.

She's calling us to see sense and be sense and recompense.

We're not chasteful; we're wasteful

The new school could be so cool

by always clearing their plate

It should be a new rule

brought in by the free-state.

A pea left on a plate

as wrong as leaving an open gate

in the countryside when out walking

though as I'm talking, I'm reasoning…

…more gates ajar; more sheep displaced…

more pastures, more space, resting: fertile in wait.

For the grower with vision and the farmer with heart

For the five layered forest garden for the laden apple cart

Ducks and slugs and mushrooms live in harmony

With balance and sensitivity commence the only sane anarchy!

We don't require much instruction, we don't need any charts.

For this way of being lives on in our hearts.

Our genes know the process for helping plants grow.

Seeds sewn and watered? Now lets go!

To a future that yields more than only grass and sheep.

A promise that to our childrens' children we will always keep

A promise that at night helps our weary bodies sleep

We're turning it around, we're seizing our power

Cos the earth watch is ticking and hour after hour

The black gold gets thicker and our lives are gonna change

But our consciences are clear

and there's no time now to fear.

To call in change or stay the same?

The moment is now and the time is here.
