that brent hinds of mastodon fame, played the fancy guitars at the end of 'want me to be'? i mean really, did you think that I suddenly mastered the guitar? So brent was like "i just want to be a part of it!!" and he came to my house with a 6 pack of high life. we tracked, and every time i thought we were done, brent was like "lets do one more!!" brent left, and i had 17 guitar solos to mix. you are hearing 4 of them in this song. later, i played a mix for him and he didn't like it. but it's my damn song. i think he likes it now.

Played at the White Water Tavern again in Little Rock Arkansas on Saturday, June 23rd, new owners, new management, it was brilliant, thank you MC and Matt and everyone else, very hospitable, love your club, played with Awesome Color from Brooklyn, good band and nice people, played again with our good friends in Moving Front and Smoke Up Johnny, both were fantastic, we rocked it or I think we did, the kids seemed to like it, I sweat a bunch and downed shots that were handed to me, once again saw some old friends and made some new, drank very much, what a feel good place, if you need a place to play in Little Rock, the White Water Tavern is the spot, off the hook, cheers Matthew for letting us crash, we had a blasty.
