What is up with the fucking man-made, eye-soar, scaffolding waterfalls on the nyc waterways? They look like a construction job gone bad, and do they serve any other purpose than splattering water? I mean, the "waterfall", or "system of waterworks", on the manhattan side of the manhattan bridge just spills water onto the dock it's attached to most of the time. And will everyone stop referring to them as art. It's cold, boring, pre declaration of independence technology.
Step 1: Take water out of river Step 2: Send it up some scaffolding Step 3: Let gravity put water back into river Step 4: HOORAY!!!!.

Hello, Hello, Hello!!!!
Last Tuesday, May 6th, I got the idea of making 5 Songs in 5 days and giving it away. I had no idea what I would be making, and that was the beauty of it. I only gave myself til midnight of each day to complete each song. Once the next day came it was time to move on. This may seem like a record just thrown together with no soul, but my soul is the only reason I was able to do this.
I really wanted to see what music I would make if I didn't judge it, didn't have a formula I was trying to follow, or a genre I wanted to fit in. I only allowed myself to concentrate on the song that I was working on that day...no thinking ahead, and no looking back...And I haven't touched these songs since their respective days of creation. During these 5 days I was as "in the moment" as I've ever been making music, and it was an amazing growing experience.
The music turned out to be a soundtrack for being. It wasn't judged when it was made, and I'll never judge it. This music happened to me and through me, and I'm grateful for every note.
Thanks for taking the time to listen and please feel free to give this link to anyone and everyone.

Hello,
So I just moved back to NY on Sunday after a 4 month hiatus and I’ve got some new music . I posted 3 new songs and If you read my last blog entry you’d know I’m writing new stuff for a possible album. So, one of the songs, The Tailor, is from that body of work. The other two are a remake of the Alicia Keys song No One, and a remix of Jason Saulon’s song "Tell Me Why". Hope you enjoy! and feedback is always nice.

I feel like it is the right time for me to seriously focus on my second album (and this time as me).
The first, Music That Sounds Like This, was made at a time where I wanted to flex my production muscles and, with a few of my friends involvement and a lot of 3am sessions, I succeeded. In the end I had in my hands a compilation of music that, from a production standpoint, i felt totally embodied everything i was about at the time.
Now, I want to, for the first time, approach music as the front man...as the artist. I want to get very personal and delve into the essence of me. 2007 was probably one of the most influential and fucked up years of my life. It started off with a bang and never stopped astonishing me and simultaneously punching me in the face. And now I am alone with just myself for the first time in my life and the thoughts and questions are many. What better time to write music?
I want to inspire, reach, and move people. I want to find my voice, my brand, my self, and maybe even peace.

(I guess, now that I blogged about it, I have to post the songs that come out of this creation period…we'll see…it might be scary)
