Hello Hello Hello.

So, times have moved on somewhat since our hay day and thus far, attempts to get us back together have not been successful. We are however now working on a new plan!

A plan that means our unreleased album will be available for download. And for free.

All we ask is that if people do download the album, then we should like it very much if you would come and see us at our last gigs.

Supply&Demand will play a big part in this of course.

So, in the meantime, our myspace site will hold a handful of tracks from the album that was never released that was to be called 'The Death Of The Great Romantic'

Enjoy and check back for details of the new computerman website.

Love

Hello Hello
Well, we practiced on Sunday, all 5 us  and we hope to give you a return gig date shortly. Amazing playing through the songs from the album and being back in the saddle again after this time away. some minor reparsrequired to some equipment with missing keys and things! The famous Yamaha is not well at all!
Well looking forward to playing live again!

hope you're all well.... me I'm just back from Paris via Newquay. The Atlantic Ocean is cold. Paris is beautiful. Why are big things in Paris better than 'big' things in London? How small are the Houses Of Parliament in person? Quite. Anyway, I got a picture with Mickey Mouse and his missus, so I'm happy.

Anyway. Its first play back post first mixing of the album week I hear. Thats exciting. I want to share the whole thing with everyone now, but that might be a bad idea. I want everyone in the world to hear it asap. But thats the thing isnt it, making people listen. Still, can't moan to much, here I am tolerating a Kaiser Chiefs single, which I never thought I'd do. I like DIgitalism, how are you about them?

My finger hurts post-Cricket again. Bloody washout weekend again, yet still managed to take on new injuries in strange places. I am a walking disaster.

Lasagne time.

And so, two more gigs dealt with and not without their fair share of events. Most notably Saturday night and the onslaught of unfortunate events which lead to the breaking of the Computerman line but we kept our heads, started again and managed to salvage things.

Thanks to you peeps that attended either and thanks to Justin for doing the photo's for us on Friday night. They'll be available for viewing shortly.

I'm not sure that that Currys' Ideas Unit place on that advert is cost effective. Seems a bit elaborate for an electrical goods store chain. Not yet annoying me as much as the Muller adverts, but there we go.

Non-UK residents, the weather is shit here. Humid, stormy, wet and crap. This is no good for Cricket, but sort of made last night at Loughborough Orange Tree more fun. People forced inside to an already 'packed' venue, good crowd, good fun. People being turned away from a gig where there was room to dance at the front seemed a little harsh but we came through...

...anyway, album progress. We're mixing, its going to take some time, we're doing all types of weird stuff with newer songs, but i promise you it'll be worth the wait. To tie you over, anyone who visits the forumwill soon have access to a nice DIY video for new song 'Shw Your Teeth' which seems to be doing good business at the gigs recently. Its SO good to be playing live again. Especially when there are many many attractive girls involved. Thats why you start writing music isn't it.... ha. Good times.

anyway. back to the lodgings, to while the hours away til the next episode of Hollyoaks.

we're in Lincoln at the weekend if you're around,

sneak peak at whats been going on.

Our Mark has used the most upmarket and classy sounding effects he could find in Cool Edit Pro to murder a couple of minutes of odds and ends of songs together in one little mp3, which features a clip of our next two singles as well as some previously unheard songs off the record. Plus some very bad editing, a comedy slowing down effect and Mark's Pavarotti impression.

hope your appetite is suitably whetted by it...

well, if nothing else we'll find out whether I operate as a singer better with or without alcohol after this record is done, cause heaven knows me and the Hurford-Hurford sound have consumed a fair amount of wine during recording. bless.

end of this week, we'll share something with you. deal? good. laters.

all this time and what've we learned? how to feign excitement and a list of words for dinner partys. Will we be missed? Check in every single mirror, just make sure that you exist.

wake up, realise you're in your mid 20s, what do you still believe in?

religion has failed you and revealed itself to be a farce, and the realisation that working for a living is nothing more than that, working to live. Where's the fun in that? Really, who'll remember you when you're gone? Your family? And how will you support them? Via a job you hate? Christ, I'm beginning to empathise with Thom Yorke and that worries me...

we're all better than this. there must be some other way. really there must.

tonight I am unhappy. x

Good evening everybody...

next week excitingly sees the first of the final recording sessions for the album and single and that. we're very pleased with ourselves, and I'm struggling not to leak stuff out to people, music wise I mean. One mixing begins we can start sharing what we've been up to since december with you. Its all very nice, new tunes sound ace, old tunes have been given a lick of paint, Neon in particular sounds fantastic.

observant people will have spotted the new dates as well, we're so so so eager to get back on the road, hope you can make them (there'll be shed loads more announced fairly soon)

anyway, ever forward
