I have just posted some shows that are coming up this month. I am playing three shows with my friend Colby Maddox. He is a very talented songwriter, singer, fiddle player, mandolin player etc. etc. Colby plays with a lot of different folks and also his own band, Sunnyside Up. At these shows we will be performing a mix of music from both of our repertoires. I am excited to play with some some new folks and it should be good music. If you are a Lush Budgett fan we will be back at the end of May at Fitzgerald's. We will post the dates as soon as we confirm. Also, we really are going to start working on the recordings we started last year and hopefully some new ones.

Here is another nice blog entry that mentions us and our performance at The Echo in Los Angeles in July. Marc was kind enough to record the show and send it to me. I listened to it today and it sounds great. I hope to post a number soon. It was great fun to go out and meet some new folks and play with a different band (The Sidewinders). Really love all the people I have met out there and Lisa and I had a great time in Joshua Tree. Old Californio and Dave Gleason played at Pappy and Harriets. Good Times! I do love Lush Budgett and I am really looking forward to another show at Fitzgerald's in September. Expect something really special. The last one was really fun. We played with the Hoyles and The Long Gone Lonesome Boys. Love both those bands.
