Hey guys,

There’s only two days left to submit to our first ever fiction anthology, Eve’s Harvest.

For submission guidelines, check out http://www.webook.com/project/harvest.

And if you have any questions, email us at either zoya@lipmag.com, or michelle@lipmag.com.

Don’t forget we’ll be having a fundraiser on the 29th of October, at The Front Cafe and

Gallery, with poetry sets by Julian Fleetwood, Andrew Galan and Adam Hadley, as well as music from the girls of Ah! Pandita. Come along and say hi!

lip’s first fiction anthology: call out for submissions!

Calling all writers!

lip magazine, your resident indie mag for young women invites YOU to
submit to their first ever, highly exciting fiction anthology,
‘Eve's Harvest’!

And to make it even more fun, we’ve themed it with the appropriately
ambiguous topic of ‘One’.

Whether it’s a poem to your one true love, an attempt at capturing
your one favourite memory, the one and only time you traveled
overseas, the one day you felt truly alive, or maybe just your one
last attempt at proving your work is worth publishing, we want to see
it!

Variations on this theme are welcome also: a tribute to singledom, the
competitiveness of coming first, recollecting the first time you…

Entries should be stories up to 2,500 words, or poetry up to 60 lines.

Send submissions as an attachment to zoya@lipmag.com, or post it up on
our WEbook project page at www.webook.com/projects/harvest

(What’s WEBook? It’s a collaborative writing community where you can
get speedy feedback on your submission from your co-contributors. All
participants can vote on each other’s stories, meaning everyone gets a
say on what makes it into the book at the end.)

Go on! Get involved today!

Every year your Nana sends you a Xmas card with a $10 note and a message in scratchy handwriting to “buy yourself something nice, dear”.

What does $10 get these days? Unfortunately not a lot.

The good news is that Xmas money can get you a copy of the next issue of lip if you pre-order now!

Are you wondering how to spend your gap year? Thought pole dancing was just for sleazy bars? Want to view the world of high fashion modelling from the other side of the catwalk? Or need the best cookie recipe ever to bake for your Nana to say thank you? Then Issue 17 is a Summer must-have.

You can pre-order your copy now at www.lipmag.com/shop
