One little girl was wearing a particularly pretty dress and, as she sat down, the pastor leaned over and said, "That is a very pretty dress. Is it your Easter Dress?" The little girl replied, directly into the pastor“s clip-on microphone, "Yes, and my Mom says it“s a bitch to iron."

Oh, the guilt you feel when you log on and spend ours lurking at people you haven't seen in years! We call this "Facebook remorse." But you can turn that Facebook frown upside down -- and actually do something productive with your social site time -- by simply adding an application.
"Takes All Types" is a Facebook button that you just add to your profile. If you sign up as a blood donor, you'll receive texts or e-mails letting you know when your blood type is needed in your area. Click here for more info. Trust us, visiting your ex-boyfriend's page will come with a lot less guilt if you do!

said: You have 236 (lil) green patch requests. That's what My Facebook said when I logged on there and saw my friend requests.
I am glad that the (Lil) Green Patch Requests aren't allowing me to send flowers as gifts to my facebook friends. I am so tired of doing that. I must have sent out atleast 100 of them. This must be annoying someone. But it is making me do it to be able to accept the flower; I have to send one to a friend. I send a flower back to the person that sent me one. Receive a gift, Give a gift. I admit, I blatantly ignored my requests. I just didn't feel like allowing another application run on my page. On every site, there are so many. Some show up on your page and others only you can see. It is becoming chaos for me and VERY time consuming.
So, this week, I decided to get my friend requests and application requests out of queue.
200 requests accepted and 36 more to go.
I am sitting here drinking a nice cold beer, downloading Perfect World and Project Torque and accepting my friend request's on Facebook.

Also, another thing...I am using my laptop. I think the computer has gotten it's years and use. It is tired; Very Very Tired.

It is funny to see how your mind can be trained, because when I was on the other computer, it would shut itself off, unbeknownst to anyone and usually when you are in the middle of something of importance. This trained my ears to listen for little sounds that the computer would make to signal to me that it is shutting off RIGHT NOW. So, now I sit on my laptop, waiting out of habit, for it to shut down. If the page takes a certain amount of time; I am prepared for it to happen...and then it doesn't. It just goes to show that we are creatures of habit and that even an old dog can be taught new tricks! :)

said: Most of you aren't aware of this, but my computer has been shutting itself off alot lately. This was Shawn's computer prior to it becoming mine. I have no idea why it does this, but it always seems to shut off while I am in the middle of a post or uploading photos. Finally after the One Millionth time of doing this, it finally opened a browser window and said:

It told me: Showing 881 out of 881
[ 610 only following, 119 mutual friends, 152 only followers ]
And that's when it hit me. At first, I didn't want to follow everyone because well, honestly...I was to lazy to add each and every person. But then after checking out my Twitter Karma, I realized, how selfish of me and one sided of me. That was very unlike me. I am the one who loves anything and everything about social networking, and here I am not reciprocating back to my readers. That was very rude and inconsiderate and so, to each and every one of you, I apologize.
So now that I feel better releasing my thoughts and conscience into the universe, I have now improved my karma...hopefully.
Already, almost immediately after selecting follow on my follower's twitter(s), I have 5 direct messages from them thanking me for following them. When in fact, it should have been me to thank them.
That was a pretty cool experience.
