"CSUSB VSA hosts its first annual Halo tournament with a bang! We want to thank all the players who came out along with the spectators who came out to support us.

Congratulations to the winning teams, EZ and Narkotic! It was a close battle to the finish and I'm glad to say that both deserving teams came out on top. It was hard picking either team as the sole winner as both teams carried exceptionally competitive and skilled players that night. Sportsmanship is a MUST in these games. Halo is no different than your poker tournaments or VSA dance competitions. Unfortunately, the winning teams did not take home the winning prizes – we're glad to announce that they decided instead to DONATE the profit to our organization! The money will help improve the gaming standards we have for our players and for that we want to offer them a big thank you from all the VSA staff members. Their names will be immortalized on our Myspace and future website. Their titles…well we can't help them defend their titles from next year's tournament. That's a battle they'll have to prepare for."
