Hi,

Just looking at selling my Faderfox DJ2.

I bought it about 5 months ago for $430 (new) and it is in brand new condition with barely any use.

INFO:

It is a small and solid midi controller which is suited perfectly for Dj apps such as Traktor and Ableton Live, but can also be used in the studio for hands-on control of Synths or samplers. It works on batteries over midi and can be coupled with other models for easy expansion of controls (all controllers are made to work with each other, so you don't need to worry about incompatabilities with eachother).

It would also be good for anyone wishing to combine it with a controller you already have, allowing control of 4 Decks in Traktor (or any program you use), or it could be used as a specialty controller for FX ,mixing etc.

The quality and feel of it is great and it is a really solid unit.

more info

- Special DJ-controller optimized for Native Instruments Traktor DJ Studio
- Setup files for Traktor DJ Studio as of version 2.1 and Ableton Live as of version 4.1 are shipped with the controller
- Independent of operating system and computer type (PC or Mac) due to the midi interface (no driver necessary)
- DJ-mixer layout – crossfader, 2 line faders, 6 EQ pots and cue/monitor control
- Joystick for innovative FX control (2 groups FX1/FX2)
- Additional FX control by switchable double functions on EQ pots
- 2 Multifunctional encoders to select/load tracks, seek/scratch, gain and pitch function
- 20 freely reassignable, double-function buttons (transport, pitch bend, FX and kill buttons for each deck)
- Fadermute for all controls by holding down the instrument's SHIFT button.
- Independent power supply by standard or rechargeable batteries 3 x AA cell, lifetime about 80 hours
- LED battery control
- Socket for an external power adaptor (4.5-6V DC - min. 50 mA)
- Midi-merge function
- Very compact design in a black, plastic casing (desktop format 180x105x70 mm, 450 g)
- Silver aluminium front plate with an anodised coating (abrasion resistant) and inscriptions
- 11 LED's in different colors to display various information (low basic lights of all LED's for better orientation in dark club atmosphere)
- High-quality faders, pots, and encoders from ALPS
- Expandable system by other micromodul controllers (easy chaining by midi connections)
- Compatible to the 1st micromodul line (same cc/note numbers like DJ1)[/QUOTE]

Im going to be selling my korg micrKontrol soon as I am beginning keyboard lessons and need a full size keyboard to learn with.

The microKontrol is a great little keyboard and midi controller. It features 16 pads, 37 keys, 8 endless rotary knobs and 8 faders and an X/Y joystick (which doubles as a button).

It is great for production, allowing you to take full control of Software synths and DAW's including Reason and Ableton aswell as live performance or Dj'ing. All functions are programmable from within the microKontrol (allowing for control of external hardware without a computer, in conjunction with the AC adapter or batteries) aswell as through software. The pads can be set as notes, allowing you to use it in conjunction with samplers or synths, which allows you to get a better and more human feel to your beats.

The keyboard/controller is only a year old and is in perfect condition. It was mainly used for its keyboard functions (controlling soft synths).

Click here for Korg site on the microKontrol

Just got myself a freakin kool new toy to play with! a Macbook Pro!

It's a second hand one off of ebay (1.83ghz Intel Core Duo, 1gb ram, 15inch screen, 100gb hard drive) and I bloody love it =D..been living on it for a couple of days straight ;]

So now I'm making the switch from PC to Mac, which is good for forcing me to reorganise all my files and stuff (although its a time killer).

This mac is o so kool!

About the Night:

Gettin there on the night and getting to hang out with some of the FBi people was absolutely awesome! Deepchild is one of the koolest guys you'l meet (and gave me a great wrap!) and the people workin and volunteering at FBi are fun and chilled out :D

When it came to chattin with Deepchild on-air i certainly had butterfly's in ma stomach and let slip 'pissed' ... haha ...playin ma musik was awesome and bein able to chat with Rick (Deepchild) of air was mad aswell!

Deepchild said this on-air about the set -

"I didn't know you could fit so much into half-an-hour! an uncomprimising mix of well glitched-up saught of breaks stuff......I have to say thats been the most enjoyable Underage Set set that I have heard in my last few years here"
