Hey guys!

Wanting to wish everyone a happy 2009, and tell you what an amazing year I have had, and inform you on some new success in my life. 2008 has flown by really fast, and as most of you know, I have not been doing much with music, as I have been taking a break, brainstorming on new ideas, going into transition while attending college. It's amazing how much I have grown up since the release of my album, and I feel as if I am growing into a good start of the artist I want to be.

I met this musician, Pete James, in December of 08' at a friend's gig, and he took a liking into my voice right away, having some great ideas for the future. We met up a couple weeks later, and we sat down and sorted out some possibilities. With his great guitar and producing skills, we redid some old classics and some songs that I wrote. Yesterday, we recorded 2 tracks, and I cannot wait to put them up!

On new years, Pete invited me to a real exclusive party to rub shoulders and sing a little for everyone, and I was so ecstatic from the response of everyone. It was an amazing night, and I am so fortunate to have met them, and to continue a friendship.

While going through this transition from teenager to adulthood, it has taught me a lot of patience, and to be more selective on what I do, personally and musically. I am so excited for everyone to hear the new demos and participate with me while we go through this journey. What a great way to start off the New Year!

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to give some updates on what I have been doing since the album came out. I haven't quite taken a "break" in music, but I started college in January and am so excited to experience the college life. School takes up a lot of my time, but the great thing is, I am majoring in music and also getting a great education. I love it. One more final exam tomorrow and hopefully I will make the Dean's list. Before I started school, most of you know I was the booking agent at The French Quarter Cafe here in Nashville. I have gone back to work there some and have a few music things lined up as well. I started changing gears with my music style and look and hope to get new pictures and music up soon. Really excited about it, especially because I have started playing bass and venturing in writing my own songs. AND to top if all off... I just got done moving. Wow, I am so exhausted from all that excitement, but the house is definitely worth all the work. Busy Busy Busy. Since this semester is letting out, I don't know what to do next. I won't be going to school this summer so you will definitely catch me out and about, playing shows and networking. Say Hi if you see me out! And I will keep everyone posted when I am playing next, which should be this summer in June with Dark Horse Promotions and his other artists.

Cd arrived this past weekend after a year and a half of anticipation! I am sending the cd's off to www.cdbaby.com so everyone can purchase a copy. I am so excited! and I hope you are too!!

I have been so busy with this project, that I haven't been able to sit down and think about everything I have accomplished in such a short amount of time. Life is a wonderful thing when you stayed focused and positive.

A big THANK YOU to everyone who loves country music and listens to the album! The songs turned out great and I couldn't ask for more.

I have a gig downtown off 8th ave south and Canary Row (next to mercy lounge) at 820 Cafe and Showcase and there I will be with my band playing my original songs for the first time, so I want as many people as possible out there. My CD will be $10 at the show.
