Yay! It's Tuesday. Time for yet another cuteness fix...continuing this week with the ever popular Look-Alike Files...


Couldn't you write an entire story on this one? I can hear the dialogue now...

Bunny: "I'm sorry, my love. I didn't mean to cast aspersion on your species."

Pup: (sniffs dramatically) "You say that now, but you're always throwing my family in my face.
        (turns to face Bunny and snaps) "Yes! My brother has fleas! Are you happy now?"

The results are in! Eoin Colfer is a kick as a speaker.

Eldest daughter (who hasn't read ANY of his books) bought tickets and treated me to a trip to Eoin's "show" Fairies, Fiends and Flatulence on Sunday afternoon. I'm not quite sure what I expected, but it wasn't what happened. He barely mentioned his books, presenting instead a slideshow of family photos and a monologue worthy of a stand-up comedian! DD and I laughed til we cried over his stories of growing up with four brothers.

Who knew family history could be so entertaining? DD was so impressed that she bought all six of his Artemis Fowl books, reasoning that if she enjoyed his monologue that much she would also enjoy his writing...that and the fact her mom (ME!) has been raving about the series for ages...

Truly, a delightful afternoon!

It's been an interesting few days here in Mumford-Land! Much plotting has taken place and the current WIP is ready to be written. Yay!

Unfortunately, I'm also dealing with some pain issues at the moment. Sigh.

Rather than dwell on the "owies" and "ouches" of life, let's turn our attention to something soft, fuzzy and majorly cute...

I just checked the Freya's Bower page  at Fictionwise and all three of my books are on the Bestseller List!!

Second Sight is currently sitting at 1, Dragons' Choice at 3, and Sorcha's Heart at 6.

How cool is that?

AND...Sorcha has moved up to 3 on the Highest Rated list! (Second Sight and Dragons' Choice don't have enough votes to be rated yet. Hopefully a few more of the folks who are buying them will go back and rate them...)
