I was at the Center of Spiritual Awakening today, as guest artist/accompanist. It was an absolutely beautiful experience. One couldn't help but feel the love in that place. A moving, yet light hearted sermon was delivered and in between the musical performance, I meditated my worries away and went to a spiritual place where all good things are.
Thanks to Phil, I bit the bullet and performed my original music solo at this event, with the exception of my sweet background vocalists, Lauran, Scott and Kevin who shared their gifts. I won't forget the warm welcome I received from the whole congregation. This was a true Christmas gift!

This past Monday, I finished recording guitars with an incredible musician by the name of Goffrey Moore ( of Jonatha Brooke). He brought on the funk, some Hendrix inspired rock and ethereal sounds to the final three songs I'll be including on my forthcoming album. My tracks have been taken to a new level of angst, sexiness and pensive emotion and I'm loving it :-) !
Violin and bass are up next....I'm absolutely excited. This indie album project is showing the signs of actually expressing so many things I've wanted to share for such a long time. I'm almost there!
I'll keep you guys posted. Thanx for all your inspirational words and support!

Yesterday I had an incredible session with guitarist Goffrey Moore (Jonatha Brooke). What a player--very cool sounds and a wonderful, fresh vibe. My album is definitely coming together and I'm thrilled. I have a good feeling there's more great stuff to come with Moore.

Category: Romance and Relationships
Tonight I uploaded a song that will be available on my forthcoming album. I adore this song because it's purely about love. No frills. Just a sweet song about that proverbial emotion.
Lately I've been wondering about love, commitment and what we as a society think it all means. I've discussed the topic with many people and after some recent revelations of wisdom, I'm starting to gain a new perspective on the matter.
"Love is not love which alters when it alteration finds," taken from the Shakespearean Sonnet. For some, that philosophy is true. If you're experiencing love for another, romantic or platonic, the strength and truth of that love does not transform itself based on your beloved's actions. Rather, it endures in the presence of adversity.
That doesn't mean you stand by and take all manner of b..*l Sh$? that your guy or girl dishes out--because you "love" them. No way. What I've now come to realise is that although some of us enter into a so called relationship, being open and honest with a heart full of compassion and love, we cannot know that the other person involved is doing the same. They might be unaware of their own shortcomings, their conditions for so called love, or they just might be thriving on your pain and the tears they help you shed, because they've trumped up their value with a string of finely woven lies they're comfortable believing.
Love does exist. There are those who are not only filled with passion, but with an equal amount of compassion. Their is no price to be on the receiving end of these treasures, because either love is or it isn't.
For those who can't help but love, don't be meek, protect your heart from the weak: If a little voice says something listen...
Not everyone goes in with an open and honest heart, so the only way to know who is being true to you is to listen to yours.
Amazed is about love, love and love. I hope it says something true to you.
XO Chloe

Current mood: excited
It's been a long day. Ballet class, then rushing off to go teach singing and piano. One of my voice students, a young boy has a great voice. A future star I'm pleased to be coaching.
These days I've been working out a new song idea. Thrilling. It's wonderful to have new melodies and harmony flowing again. Can hardly wait to record when it the right time comes.
Listened to some tracks by The Magic Numbers (rec. by Stewart who saw them this weekend in the UK). I throught they were refreshing, fun and cool. Very musical.
