Unique Chique will grace the Schubas stage once again this Friday night, July 10.  They will be opening for a good band from Nashville called, The Features.  Show starts around 10, they play first. More info here: http://www.schubas.com

BMA killed in on Friday when they opened for Appleseed Cast at Sub-T in Chicago.  They played a few dates with Appleseed Cast and had a lot of fun. They was a little write-up in  Time Out Chicago  about the show:

Just in case you saw somewhere that we were releasing the new Features record, we are not.  It's a long story.  But they needed a name for their record label and happened to choose a completely random name that they thought was funny.  They will change the name after the first pressing.  I spoke w/ their manager today, he was really nice and we both saw the humor in the situation.  problem adverted.

Brighton MA are very busy this Christmas season. They'll be on the radio once again tonight! WLUW's Radio One will be interviewing Matt and he'll be giving away tickets to their show on Friday at the Cubby Bear, which, ironically, is being sponsored by WXRT. Not sure how that works out, but you should listen. The show starts at 7 and can be found at 88.7 on your radio dial.

In addition to yesterday's post about BMA's WXRT Show, Matt and Sam will appear on WXRT's Local Anesthetic on Sunday. If you're in Chicago, tune your radio left of the dial (as Paul Westerburg would say). I think it's 93.5. Local Anesthetic starts at 7:30 and is hosted by Richard Milne.

Brighton MA will continue to celebrate the release of their new LP, "Amateur Lovers," on Dec. 12 @ The Cubby Bear in Chicago. The Cubby Bear should be easy to find. It sits catty corner from Wrigley Field, which is that huge stadium at the corner of Clark and Addison. Just look for the McDonalds. Can't miss it.
