It's all about the music.... at least it is for us. Some of the All-Stars have other jobs, but their main focus is on the music. We hope you are enjoying it and appreciate the comments you have made... keep em coming. Just to let you know the BurnDown All-Stars have been playing a lot of shows this fall, and we are gonna keep coming out as long as you keep coming out to hear us. So what is your favorite BurnDown track? Is there a track we should put up here on myspace? Do you have BurnDown playing on your site? If not, it is real easy to do. Click on the tab that says add next to the song you want and it will link to your site. Help us share the music. Also check out all the BurnDown sites including Dave Quicks, Kufie, Rok Bottom, JawnZap7, Carlito Attack, The Dialects, Nutty. You can find them all in our top 8. Catch us at Crazy Carl's the first Saturday every month. Grape Street Philadelphia the second Friday of every month. And keep your eyes on the schedule page at www.burndownmusic.com for all the other places you can catch us performing live. This Friday we will be recording some music down at Turtle Studios for First Friday's in Old City Philadelphia. All the info is on our website at www.burndownmusic.com Keep in touch and let us know what you think of our music. How does it move you? What would you like to hear?

Mad love to everyone who came out to Grape Street Philadelphia last night. The show was off the hook. I have to give it up to the BurnDown players who kept the music grooving throughout the set. Tom Walling on Drums, Rico Joseph on Bass, Jeremy Dyen on Keys, Kevin Hanson on Guitar, Tom Smoove on the Turntables, Jay Davidson and Mike on the horns. Without these guys the show would not have happened. Much respect to Joe and the Grape Street staff for being there time and again and for supporting local music. If you haven't been out this club yet, you have to go. The All-Stars hit again on April 25th at the North Star Bar and the 30th up in State College. Be sure to keep an eye on our website for updates and changes, www.bunrdownmusic.com Peace, Barbarella

It's official, The album is done, Quicks did an amazing job, like Carlito says... Dats Dat Sh*t! Official release is April 1 but the first party is April 8th. Be sure to be at the Grape that night to get your hands on Volume 2. Special thanks to Willy Sions for our layout and Dave Horoshack for our mastering. These guys know how to put the polish on. And thanks to all our fans who have supported us through and through... we promise that this one is hotter than the Outside Connect. See you on the 8th Barb

DJ SATOne and Tom Smoove put some finishing touches on the album Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Dave will be finishing all the mixing tonight. Willy Sions is getting our artwork in order for the cover. Our good friend Dave H. is mastering the album for us and we should (keep the fingers crossed) have the finished product in your hands by April 1. Keep posted to the BurnDown website for uptodate info. Barb

So we had a listening party yesterday of 30 songs that are possibilities for the new album. Fans of BurnDown both old and new can expect Volume 2 around April 1, 2005. Quicks is putting the finishing touches as we speak. Thanks to Jay Davidson and Mike for coming to blow some sweet horns on some tunes last Saturday. Volume 1 is sold out for now. We are considering reordering The Outside Connect, so if you are interested hit us up so we know. See you all on March 11 at the Grape. Keep your ears on 91.7 Rhythm N Time radio show for some BurnDown airplay. BurnDown... the only solution keeping you in tune with the Philly Underground

Quicks is working hard in the studio to get Volume 2 done. It should be available for everyone's ears April 1. No foolin! Jeremy Dien was in the studio today laying down some smokin keyboards on a few of the songs. To hear some of them before the album is out you have to come see a live show. Next one will with the full Allstar band will be at the Grape March 11th. Soma is opening so it should be a hot show. Oh yeah, the Allstars hit the radio the beginning of March. We will be recording a performance for Rhythm N Time radio show on Drexel's WKDU 91.7 FM in Philly. Keep locked here or on the official BurnDown site for when that show will air.
