Current mood: sleepy
Category: Music
yeah i said it...prove me wrong all you OTHER self important "musicians".
i posted 4 brand new (well we've been working on this album for 3 years so maybe not brand new) songs from the forthcoming Caliche Con Carne album tentatively titled "Time is Absolute".
Recorded by Tucson's Jim Waters at his catastrophic WaterWorks recording studio, the new album features a revolving door of some longtime Tucson musicians who you may or may not care about.
Just so you know Caliche Con Carne will be performing (possibly exclusively from now on) at the HOWARD JOHNSON'S on frontage road and 22nd street in a few weeks (check back for exact dates if you care...) YUP that's what it's come to, 16 years of playing music in this wonderful city of Tucson. It's really a fun place to play (HOJOs)...beats the shit out of club congress. i'm not kidding, no hipster windbags, if you took that personally then you are one, if not pat yourself on the back. Soon they will discover it and ruin it, so make sure you catch one of the upcoming performances.
I love you all in my own special way, and my opinions in many ways don't reflect those of Caliche as a whole (no one can really define what that is exactly anyway), you'll just have to figure out in which ways they do.
yeah...so enjoy the music if you can. happy new year.
Giddyup, Richard Swelling
