Yeah, I know it's been a while since my last post. Should I apologize? Hey, being a Cat means never having to say you're sorry. I've just been busy, that's all. I have a lot to do. Important stuff like eating. Washing. Teasing Brunhilda because it's fun to make her scream (she's one of the other Cats here and has a shriek like a banshee)… And sleeping, of course… Especially sleeping, which I do really well (check out the picture of me Mimi put in the uppermost slideshow on her profile page--I'm cute). Writing is exhausting work, you know that? Sometimes when I'm doing a blog post I get so tired I have to stop and take a nap. Then when I wake up I forget what I wanted to say in the first place and that ends that. As a matter of fact, I think I hear Mr. Sandman calling me right now. Yawn... There was something Mimi wanted me to announce, but damned if I can remember what. Maybe I will later. If I don't get my 20 hours of rest a day, I'm a wreck.

Catch ya later,

Loozie, rhymes with snoozy

Cats read by osmosis, did you know that? When you see us lying on a book or a paper, we're not sleeping—we're reading it. Anyway, I just finished Melanie Jackson's DIVINE MADNESS. It had the handsomest, hunkiest, coolest cat in it. I want him, I want him!… Meeeow, baby!…purrrrrr… Oh, yeah, and the human characters were pretty cool, too (for humans). Besides which, it had a super plot and the writing was splendid. If you're looking for a fabulous read, I highly recommend it!

Hugs & purrs,
Loozie

Greetings! My name is Loozianna—Loozie for short. I'm a member of that vastly superior species commonly called The Cat, but you can call me Goddess, or Your Highness. Mimi is one of my humans—a lesser species, but as long as she feeds me I put up with her. Bonny is one of the other Cats in the house (don't ask how many of us there are—you don't want to know). Anyway, Bonny and I were sitting here at the PC and Mimi was sitting under us—we were sitting on her, in fact—and she was complaining about her legs getting cramped and being bitchy because Bonny sneezed on the keyboard and I wanted to play with the mouse (I mean, why do they call it a mouse, anyway if they don't want Cats to chase it?)… Finally she crawled out from under us to use the box…so to speak…and that's when Bonny and I decided to take over this blog. Because, like, we're a lot more interesting than Mimi is. Besides, we want to practice our typing and it's really difficult to do that when she's fussing at us to quit walking on the keys. Sheesh, you'd think she'd be grateful for the help with her writing, but that's humans for you. They just can't see the brilliance in a line of something like rewoigthnargwnhzxcfhyzzzzzzzzzz. To me now, it's pure poetry. But of course, you have to be able to read it with a Cat's sensibilities. I did mention we were a superior species, right? Whatever. That's enough for now. I hear human activity in the kitchen, which is my cue to pussyfoot on out there and demand my fair share of whatever's being served. They better not be eating oranges again or I'm going to be pissed. I'm not a picky eater, but I draw the line at citrus…. Come on, Bonny, let's turn on the ol' mind-control and think them into opening the potato chips. I've got a yen for something crunchy. Writing is hungry work, you know that?

Meowy-zowie,

Loozie & Bonny
