There was a moment last night at the recording studio that I will cherish.

That moment took place when I leaned back in the console room's leather sofa.  Very comfortable.  My eyes closed and head leaned back.  I felt only calm.  Only peace.  It was beautiful.  I was totally void of worry or concern for anything in my life.  I was calm, like a still lake. 

My personal life has been one lately of new challenges and new concerns.  With this comes stress.  The kind I am not accustomed to.  With this said, I have learned a bit about myself.  My doubts, my true passions, my strengths.  I have learned much.

The music we played in the studio brought me brought new conviction to my desires.  It also fatigued me.  My hands hurt, my mouth was dry.  My head pounded, my ears rang.

It wore me out, I rested on that leather sofa in the console room.  I sank in.  The feeling of absolute peace overcame me.  I smiled and fell asleep.  Like a baby.

I was void of everything, only aware of the comfort and secure feeling that radiated inside.

It is a hope that we all come to that time of absolute calm and assuredness that came to me one lazy moment in the studio.  Ahhh.

Hello gang...

I was on the verge of losing my sanity...what's left of it. It seems I was desperately seeking RAY DEO and could not find it. HOWEVER, last night KRCL was streaming on my computer (I think it's alive and hates me, my computer, that is), when all of a sudden a light of familiar music filled the room.

I thought I was listening to my MP3 player!!! I was hearing the sounds of LOCAL ARTISTS that rock....Yes, rock. I know there is an ocean of music and local bands in this valley, but it seems the "local" radio shows are particularly in favor of only a handful.  Perhaps there isn't enough time to schedule the local acts between the touted international indies.  I don't get it. 

There is so MUCH good music being created and played by the talent in this "happy valley"I am astounded at the amount of great  music  being produced here. But, alas, we don't hear them on the "local" channels...EXCEPT last night, I had tuned into a show called "Not a Sideshow" (please forgive me, KRCL, if this is not totally correct)....

Anyway, the music I heard was like listening to old friends!!! Now, my faith in UTAH radio has been restored...for the moment, anyway. I will stay tuned and further investigate the schedule.

YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THIS SHOW.... and, uh, oh yeah, if you don't like it....well,  JUST TURN THE DIAL!!!

Well, alrighty then...

This is to be considered my first "official" BLOG....big deal!  I hope I don't bore you..perhaps I will get you angry, make you smile or just keep you on your toes...
