hi everyone,
I'm not a big blogger (you may have noitced), but thought a few words were needed for this one. The Stems are,....BELIEVE IT OR NOT..... to call it a day. This will be it - no more comebacks!
We've had a wonderfull resurgence since our return in 2003, recorded a fine album, played many great gigs here and in Europe, Japan and the US, met some awesome people and had a lot of laughs along the way - it's been a lot of fun.
An amazing feat when I think of what we've acheived after having originally broken up in '87, under what could be described as difficult circumstances. But, most of all it's been about the enjoyment of 4 friends reconnecting again to play the music we created in this great band.
We are very thankful and appreciate how lucky we are to have been able to pick things up again and make something of it, thankyou to all our fans.

If you're going to the Maxwells show on Monday 17 Brooklyn's own The Insomniacs + The Chevelles and Gigantic also from the Stems home town of Perth will be on the bill.

The Dirty Water Club show on Thurs 20 will also includes Muck and Mires from the US and Los Cretinos from Spain

The Stems have announced a three week tour in March which will include shows in the US, UK, Spain, Italy, Norway and Japan. More details soon.

A show in Oslo Norway has been added on Wednesday March 26
