We need a huge favor from all of you!

We are participating in a contest among some LAN Gaming Center owners in which we provided a video from the "The Club" launch party and the one that gets most views, better ratings, and positive comments starting today will win the cotenst.

If we win, we will be awarded an Alienware Laptop!!! Our plan is to raffle the laptop among our 4 employees. They deserve the chance!!!!!

In total, there are only 3 videos participating including ours so it must be a piece of cake to win. All we need is your help!!!!!!!!

TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS AND HAVE THEM GO TO RATE THE VIDEO TOO.

And now, here is the link:

3 Years already!

It's been 3 years since Gigabits LAN Center opened its doors to gamers from all Central Florida. A lot has happened since we started. We have grown from 15 to 25 computers, from 1 to 5 employees, from being open 102 hours a week to 116 hours a week.

A history of good tournaments

We started doing tournaments one month after we first opened. So far we've done more than 30 tournaments including local, national and international events. We were the regional venue for important events such as the World Cyber Games (WCG) in 2005 and we have been participating members of the Cyber Square Alliance in 2007. We have hosted some of the most important tournaments in Florida and in the nation too. We have been participants of the official Intel Center Program, a program that sponsors professional gaming tours in premium LAN centers in the U.S.A.

Collaboration and friendship is the key

How, you may ask, have we come to achieve all those things in a short time and being a "small" center? Our dedication to succeed and to do things the right way. Honest business pays off. We have made so many good friends in the local as well as the national gaming scene. Our participation in Otronicon is a perfect example of collaboration among LAN centers from Central Florida. We participated along with our friends from The Gaming Den and KiNETiX. When competitor LAN centers participate and collaborate in this way everybody wins! And everyone knows that The Gaming Den was literally across the street from us. Yet, our friendly relationship made our communities strong. More recently, Beat The Box came to the Central Florida market with a very awesome console-only center. We are very happy to call them our friends and look forward to collaborating in the future!

Team Gigabits

This team was formed by some of our customers that participated in our tournaments and thought there is enough talent to form a winning team for a winner LAN center. We have given our full support because what they are doing, they are doing it right. They are doing so well that they just won our most recent Counter Strike 1.6 tournament! So please, support them and support us so we can all make our team number one in the nation.

A new saga begins...

Our future is very promising! We have brand new systems now so our gamers will be enjoying their favorite games in the best possible hardware. We will continue to offer good quality tournaments and we look forward to bringing important national-level events that will give the chance to our gamers to win and win big. We will also see our Team Gigabits become e-sports stars in the year to come. This will be extremely exciting!!

Gigabits is here for YOU

We will always do our best to make your gaming experience worthwhile. That's our promise. Stay tuned to our website, our IRC channels (gigabitslan, gigabits), our Facebook page, and our MySpace page for the latest information.

Thank you for being with us the past 3 years and we hope to be here for you for many, many more!!
