Category: Games
I have just obtained the game from gamefly on Saturday. No, I haven't beaten it yet. However, even so I have the need to write this semi review.
The star ocean series has never impressed me. The battle system is nearly as hard to understand as junctioning, and the stories are usually very long winded. Most of them are still two and three disc games even with the updated programing systems we have today.
The Last Hope, really is not different. I've spent the last ten hours, basically button mashing my way through controls. I think, I've finally figured out hour to rush, but now I can't figure out how to combo rush... I suppose I could go back through the tutorials... again... but it seems to me that if I have to go through tutorials more then once (or twice in my case), just to understand controller basics... maybe I should stop playing already...
The story is what we expect from any RPG game on the market. Save mankind. The from part is the puzzler at this point. We started out with save mankind from mankind, as we blew the Earth to hell and back and it's basically unliveable at this point. Great, joy, let's find another world...
But then... there's this crystal? that another race is using to exterminate other races so they can be the only life force in existance? I think... Again I'm only ten hours in but this is what I get so far.
Graphically the game hasn't changed much. Certainly it's we'll say "sharper" then all the other star ocean games, but at the same time, the art style hasn't changed any so it's still on the 3d anime look.
As far as games are concerned, I'm not sure if I'm enjoying it, or just playing it because I started it. I think it's a combination of both. For certain the story has me intriqued.
Currently I'm being held hostage in Caldona? or something like that. After ten hours of continuos play however, I think I'm going to step off of it for a moment and come back, to see how long it takes for the story to drive me insane with the I need to know what's going to happen...
As far as I can tell, this is by far the best star ocean game I've ever played. As an RPG though, I'll reserve any final decision until I beat the game. Be back in fifty more hours of game play....

There are somethings that stubbornness really won't admit as a reality until it's experienced in person.
I will say this, I wanted to see UP.
I don't even know where to begin on how...
Let me just say what was wrong with it...
EVERYTHING.
I am not joking.
Oh and if you haven't seen the movie and you want to... I am desperately begging you. Go see UP. Download this if you really have to see it.
*Spoilers* (sort of)
Okay look, Megatron (who never transformed correctly anyway) within three minutes transformed from a tank to jet and back again... which okay from the zap change camflagouge thing they have wouldn't be so bad, EXECPT THEY WERE FIGHTING IN THE MIDDLE OF A FRICKING FOREST NOT A MILITARY BASE.
Next, TRANSFORMERS ARE AUTONOMOUS ROBOTS NOT PEOPLE! They should NOT be transforming into people... *sobs* No. That's wrong...
Third, remember that desert in the beginning of the first movie that the scorpion thing got the hell blown out of it? Guess where the movie ends at? In those same damn ruins. No joke. Why at least not be original with the locationing.
And speaking of locationing... TRANFORMERS DO NOT TELEPORT! I mean WTF? THIS IS NOT STAR TREK! *sigh*
Okay okay okay...
Now, the next problem. THIS IS NOT VOLTRON OR POWER RANGERS WHAT THE HELL IS WITH THE MERGING THING? I can't believe they did that. Like six car things merged together to create like one huge super sucking thing... I'm not even sure what the purpose of that thing was.
I mean honestly, what type of person created this movie? Some nimrod that has absolutely no knowledge of Transformers at all? Why didn't he use a guide book or soemthing? Just winging it doesn't work for these kinds of movies. It was so sad to see Transformers desicrated like that...
AND THEN, Sam dies! Hallelujah! But then the dead Primes visit him and tell him some weird shit and he comes back to life... I'm serious, it does like a Touch by an Angel act where he's like in a heaven like place then goes back to his body. I can only shake my head and close my eyes at the retarded corniness of it...
WTF? OMFG! Couldn't we have just left him dead? I mean they already killed Optimus Prime, why not him too?
O_o I did forget to mention that didn't I? They killed Opitmus Prime and then they bring him back to life too... AND THEN HE DOES SOME VOLTRON SHIT WITH THE PARTs OF THE DECEPTICON THAT DECIDED HE WAS NO LONGER GOING TO BE A DECIPTICON!
Oh and Starscream is a sniveling worm in the movie, it's drastically annoying.
Speaking of the Decipticons, remember all the ones that were killed in the first movie? THEY'RE BACK! I AM NOT SHITTING. It's just like poof, honey I'm home type shit. I mean sure the movie was already destroyed... why not destroy it further and just deny all reasoning and bring back the dead without any explaination as to why they are back...
There are some new autobots in the movie, the one doesn't talk at all, the twins talk too much, the motorcycles only talk once... I think... Bumblebee still does the radio thing.
I think the production of the movie went into seeing how many thing they could possibly transformer in two hours.
Oh yet about the plot... In the last thirty? minutes of the movie it's revealed that there is a machine on earth that harvests the energy that the autobots and decpticons use to live by destroying the sun. And Sam has to find the key to the machine before Megatron does. In the last thirty minutes.
I can't take it anymore...
I'm not talking about this anymore...
It was the most retardest thing and such a waste of money...
Someone find the producer and take him out to the firing squad.
This is it.
Oh and the movie ends almost as if there could be a next one.
Please god someone save us now.

Why should I lie in bed and pretend to sleep when in all reality it only allows the guilt to eat me more? I've only lain here for two hours, but it seems like an eternity. I wish I could take it back, I wish I had never hurt him.
I have hurt a very dear friend to me. I have slandered his honor, and his dignity.
He once called me a damn good friend... I'll be lucky if he just calls me friend anymore. Truly it's no more then I deserve.
How does one apologize for something that really can't be apologized for? How does one say I'm sorry for calling you filthy, dirty names and still be able to face themselves in the mirror.
I tell you now. I cannot face the mirror right now.
I know what I did was wrong the moment I did it. Instead of taking it back as soon as I said it I left it open and festering... and now...
If I could I would take to him my grandmother's favorite belt. The one she beat me with and I would take off me shirt and pants and lie down and let him beat me until his anger was gone. I wouldn't fight him or protest. I'd cry and hope that somewhere he could forgive, such is my hate for myself at this point.
I was stupid.
I was foolish.
And I was being childish.
There's no way I can take back what I said and no reason he should forgive me. No reason he should trust me any longer. No reason he should care. I am fully prepared for this.
After all I caused it. With careless words and child's temperament.
My mother tells me that it's usually those we love most that we hurt the most. I don't think he'll see it that way. I'm not even sure he truly believes I love him or if it's just an infatuation. We don't really speak of my feelings. It's not something that's relevant for a simple friendship.
I expect him to walk away. I expect him to withdraw and never speak to me again. It's only fitting after what I've done.
I hope that if nothing else he'll see that our conversation was me tossing out petty words to hide how deeply hurt I am.
I will not be foolish here.
I still am hurt. I hurt now because I hurt him and cannot fix it. I hurt now, because in all reality it would probably be easier for him not to accept my apology and dump me and my emotional attachment into the Atlantic.
The original hurt that started this all is just a dull throb now... I've known the truth for quite some time... Dreams aren't reality and there's no point in trying to make them so. It only causes pain for all those involved.
I will accept whatever he chooses to give me as fair punishment. I will accept that I've probably destroyed my friendship with the closest person in my life because I can't see through the clouds of my own misery and loneliness.
This is not the first time I've lashed out at him... I can say that it is probably the last time he'll allow it.
I'm sorry really has no meaning here, not when I say it often and in most instance for things that are really not my fault. It's the way I'm programed.
However, I've made a friend believe something terrible and vicious that truly has no bearing on what is true at all. I've made him feel that he is less then what he actually is.
In complete honest I don't deserve his friendship. I am not worthy of him.
However, I've started this and I want it finished.
I can't say I'm sorry because it's too easily said, and we both know it. I can't ask for forgiveness because really what I've done is beyond retribution.
I can only say I was stupid, foolish, petty and childish. I can only say that even I know that.
I can only say that he is my greatest friend, and I pray that he remains so.
There's nothing that can fix the hurt that I caused, I know that, but perhaps in my sincerity he can see the truth as it's meant to be seen.
He is a wonderful, kind and caring person. He doesn't see it as such, but I do.
Now that this is written, I am tired and drained and broken. Perhaps it's all I'm meant to be, but at least, I have tried to repent.
I think I will say it anyway.
I am deeply and sincerely sorry for what I said. It was petty and I regretted it the moment it came out. I can't take it back it's already been said but if I could I would. It doesn't make it right and I know it certainly doesn't make it forgiven.
However I need it to be known I don't think of him in that position at all, I never did and I never had and I never will. Such is my trust and faith in him.

This is an argument I had with someone recently. It needs to be vented so I can walk away from it. It's not word for word, I don't have that kind of memory, but it's pretty close. It at least is the structure anyway...
_____
Why do you love him?
It's hard to explain really. Love is not something that really can be put into words easily. I love him because he cares, I love him because he listens. He doesn't judge me; he doesn't degrade me.
Is that all it takes to love someone?
No, it's not all. Like I said it's not really something that's tangible enough to define. I love the person that he is. He's caring, and funny and considerate. Him as a whole is why I love him.
Even when he doesn't love you?
It doesn't matter. I can't just shut it off. It's not a light switch.
There's always something better out there.
Perhaps. Nobody's perfect. He can be loud, obnoxious, opinionated, and irritating, but I love those parts too. You can't just love a piece of someone. You have to love the whole thing.
He'll never love you, you know.
Who really knows what the future holds?
You're so naive. Look at him. In reality you're nothing more then an easy fuck and that's all that matters to him.
That would be my problem wouldn't it?
He's never going to love you, why don't you just accept that and move on?
I think the problem is, you change men as often as you change your underwear. Perhaps you should be the one reconsidering your principles?
He lives in a different world then you do. You'll never be able to compete with what he has available to him.
And your point being?
You're so foolish. My point is that you don't have anything to hold his attention any more then just simple friendship.
I never said we were more then friends.
But you love him? How ridiculous is that?
*shrug*
I hope he dumps your friendship. I hope he walks out on you and leaves you broken into little pieces. Maybe then you'll learn your lesson.
You can't pick and chose who you love. It just happens. If he walks away then he walks away. After all, we've made no commitments.
You'd rather be broken?
*shrug* I've been broken before. What would one more time matter?
I can't believe you. I can't believe this. Why do you do this to yourself? He doesn't even care.
Sure he cares. He hasn't kissed another girl in front of me in almost seven months.
You think this is funny? Look at this you're even defending someone who doesn't deserve defending.
Everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt. He's never lied to me. He's never told me one thing and done another.
That you know of. You trust to easily.
Maybe you don't trust enough?
Hardly. I'm not the one loving someone that has no intention of loving me back. He's just stringing you along until he's done with you.
You're so pessimistic.
No, I'm realistic. I know the difference between love and lust.
You think I don't? You think I don't know what I feel?
I think you're confused. I think you need to step back and look at the whole picture before you see him anymore.
I think you're scared that I might find something you'll never have.
*laughs* I think you're missing an important fact here. He doesn't love you.
*scoffs* What you can predict the future now?
No. I know men. AS you've said, I've loved too many.
Slept with too many. I don't think you're capable of love.
Good thing for me, or I might be in your predicament.
I don't have a predicament.
Then why do you cry yourself to sleep at night?
*I left here slamming the door on my way out*
______
So there it is. My argument. Now I feel better.

.................... BLOOD Final Tour: La Fin De La Journee (with GPKISM and DJ SiSeN and EchoStream) Philadelphia:
SO…. Where to start? I guess the main starting point should be we left York, PA at about 3:30 PM to go see Dj SiSeN, BLOOD, GPKism and EchoStream. We arrived in Philadelphia at six exactly. One thing I can say about the area was that there was no lack for parking. We found parking in about five minutes and walked maybe an eight of a mile to our destination. ....
Where we preceded to wait in the cold for almost two hours. I guess I can’t really complain. I did have the option to have dinner with the bands, but being that the restaurant was a Japanese Restaurant and that I’m allergic to seafood, I couldn’t see myself spending and additional forty dollars to stare at food I couldn’t eat. Then depending on the allergens it put into the air, food that I probably couldn’t even inhale without suffering an allergy attack. So, I waited in the cold.
After waiting in the cold we were ushered in groups into the single elevator to the second floor. My standing area was like second-ish row from the stage. There wasn’t really a stage persay, it was a taped off area that the big muscle head guys would beat you up if you crossed the line. Once everyone was crowded in it began pretty much instantly.
First band: EchoStream. I have to honestly say I’ve never heard a lot of their music. The only things that I have really heard are the tidbits on Myspace. I can honestly say they are a good band. They played for about half an hour I would hazard a guess. (I really wasn’t keeping an eye on the clock to say for sure.) It was a total of five/six songs. (I wasn’t actually counting either.) I was standing right in front of Tomo and got some really great drool over memories. I got a couple of pictures of the whole group as a rule. The vocalist has an awesome range and it made for a fun opening. I think I definitely am going to invest in their music.
Second up: GPKism. I have all of GPKism’s released stuff. I can honestly say that I think I like it live better. However, that thing that Kiwamu insists on wearing on his head… has to go. It’s just not flattering in the least and it hides his pretty face. I love how Kiwamu teased his hair up though. I had originally planned to beat up Ken for his dress, but upon evaluation, he’s a skinny bitch and I probably wouldn’t have been able to fit it, so… His voice is different live. Sort of richer then what was or could have been recorded. They played for about a half an hour as well.
Third in line: DJ SiSeN. I really had no expectations of DJ SiSeN. Like all I knew about him was that he was a rave DJ and wore funny hair. He was so adorable. The rave music was awesome and if there had been room I would have been dancing for sure. He threw candy and little figurines out into the crowd. I caught a figurine. It’s a M.A.R. figure. My friend, Sarah caught a dum-dum and a little plastic thing that look like mints, but taste suspiciously like papaya. His facial expressions are fabulous and I hope he had as much fun as we did.
Final Band: BLOOD. This started weird. Roger, from Tainted Reality came out to announce the band, like always, but I could have swore he said that Fu~ki, Kaede and Ryo would not be playing and the Gothic Prince Ken was playing the keyboard and Kiwamu was playing the guitar (Kiwamu had thankfully taken off that nasty thing he had been wearing for GPKism and now I could see his pretty face.) But Fu~ki did come out. The first thing he said was “I’m sick.” He sounded so miserable and I felt sort of bad for dragging him out of his bed. He wasn’t even dressed up or wearing makeup. He had simple black skinny jeans on and a Reaper Behind Me tee shirt. Kiwamu had a sexy corset on that you could see his collar bone and a skirt. Well, I think it was a skirt. It was swooshy, but it could have been pants. Either way it was gorgeous. They played for what could have been an hour. I’m not entirely sure. During one of the songs Fu~ki was standing right in front of me and I reached out for him. He reached back and held my hand for a moment. It was the greatest feeling and I hope some of my strength passed to him in that moment. There was a part, where I was a little scared for him. He was holding on to the microphone stand and closed his eyes and swayed for a moment. I thought he was going to pass out, but he opened his eyes and shook it off. They played both new songs and old and it was very awesome. We jumped for Fu~ki and screamed for him and waved our arms. It was a great concert. Fu~ki at one point was playing with Ken and they shared a microphone. It was cute. I am a little disappointed that there was no Kaede and Ryo, as this was my first time seeing BLOOD live, and the last time I could but I will cherish what I was able to have.
The Encore: This was a little weird. Fu~ki had said that it would be the last song, and me not really being concert savvy believed it to be the last song. But when he was done and everyone was off the stage nobody moved. I was a little confused until someone screamed encore and Roger can back out and asked us why we were all still standing there. Fu~ki, Ken, Kiwamu, and SiSen came out initially. Fu~ki was singing and Kiwamu was playing his guitar. Ken was dancing? I think that’s what that was supposed to pass for. Mayhap it was because his heels were awesomely tall and he was just trying not to fall over. DJ SiSeN though. He was so cute. He tried to get Ken to dance with him and Ken just looked sort of embarrassed. Then he went over and danced with Fu~ki . The fan service those two pulled off was memorable. Then Tomo came out with his guitar. I wasn’t expecting that actually and it was cool. Fu~ki jumped onto Roger’s back and Roger piggybacked him around the stage. My camera battery died right here. I only got one picture of the piggybacking. At the end of it all Fu~ki took his shirt off, and Roger swiped it, saying the first person in line for after concert autographs would get the shirt. Then it was over.
The Aftermath: So we were trying to figure out what to do, when people began shuffling and pushing to get in line. My friend, Hannah was in the process of passing out so we weren’t staying for autographs and the pinched nerve in my hip was throbbing incessantly so I wasn’t really feeling up to staying either. So we walk to the elevator (I honestly think we were the only people leaving) and hit the elevator button waiting for the elevator. Well, next to the elevator was the doorway to back stage, with what could have been a curtain hanging over it. Well the curtain was transparent and lo and behold, DJ SiSen was on the other side. We said his name and he pulled the curtain back and smiled at us. My friend, Sarah held out her arms for like a hug, and I stepped back as he came out of back stage to give her a hug. Then he gave Hannah a hug because she was standing right next to Sarah. He stepped back a pace and I stepped forward a bit and then he came past Hannah and Sarah and gave me a hug too! But when he gave me a hug, I gave him a kiss on his cheek and he kissed me back! It was so awesome. I got hug and kiss from DJ SiSen. We said bye when the elevator finally popped open (I have no idea why it took so long.) and went downstairs to leave. Well as we were downstairs someone was handing out little flyer things. I stopped in front of the door, because my contacts kept blurring and I couldn’t read the little flyer thing. I had stopped, right next to Tomo. I looked up from the flyer blinked twice and then realized who was smiling at me. I got a hug and a business card from him. I wished him good night and finally we exited the building back into the freezing cold. Only this time it didn’t feel cold anymore we were so excited over the concert. On the way home we listened to BLOOD and I cried a little knowing I’d never see them again. Sure, I would probably see Kiwamu again as he’s paired with Ken for GPKism, but Fu~ki, Kaede, and Ryo are gone forever. This one evening, the entire three and a half hours of it, I think will be burned in my memory forever. It was the greatest experience. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to go to another concert that was just that awesome again. There is after all only one BLOOD. Goodbye, forever.
.. ..
P.S. I do have pictures, but those are in editing right now. As soon as the editing is done I will be posting all of them.

Category: Games
So it has been brought to my attention today, that I own way more video games then I actually play. Thanks to my major I play a different game every week, and whether I finish it or not I still have to move on to the next. Sad to say then, that I have a whole lot of unfinished video games.
I think of all the games I own I actually finished about half of them. Not really a good thought when I think about it. I'm suppose to be good at this you know? So, I've decided I'm going to take this winter vacation and finish some of my half started games. It's my before new years resolution. Everything half played will be finished by new years....hopefully.
I'm thinking about trading some of them in, but some of them are really good.... even only placed once....

I'm not sure how hard this is for people to understand.
I know that not all of you have taken any form of class, and I'm sure most of you learned to drive from your parents.
However, the makers of the automobile puts "special" parts in your car for a reason.
TO PREVENT FUCKING ACCIDENTS!
I'm sure all of you know there are several levers that hang from your steering wheel. (Steering wheel: the round thing used to turn the vehicle.)
WHY DOES NOBODY KNOW THAT THE LEVER ON THE LEFT CONTROLS THE YELLOW FLASHING LIGHTS ON THE CAR?
I'm sure this may come as a shock to a lot of you, but the yellow lights are there to announce to the cars around you the direction you are taking. I'm sure this may not be a really important thing to you, BUT it IS A BIG DEAL TO THOSE PEOPLE THAT NEED TO PREDICT WHAT THE FUCK YOUR STUPID ASS IS TRYING TO DO!
I'm not really sure that most of you understand the importance of the turning signal. Let me say this the easiest way possible.
USE THE FUCKING BLINKING YELLOW LIGHT YOU STUPID ASSES. THEY SAVE LIVES.
I have decided that I'm filing a bill with NYS to request that ALL drivers must first have to pass a 100 question driving test BEFORE getting a permit.
You people don't know how to fucking drive let me tell you. I know this because where I come from it was mandatory to take a drive class (not a five hour safety course an actual this is a semester long class) in order to get your license. No class, no license. They need to implement that rule in NYS. There would be less accidents. There would be less drivers.
I WONT HAVE TO BEEP MY HORN AND RAISE MY FIST AT STUPID MOTHER FUCKERS THAT THINKS ITS OKAY TO CROSS THREE LANES OF TRAFFIC WITHOUT A FUCKING TURNING SIGNAL. LET ME KNOW DAMMIT! I'M NOT WRECKING MY 2008 SCION ON YOUR PIECE OF SHIT!

Current mood: infuriated
I think that by a certain age, oh we'll say ten, (for benefit of the doubt) you should know your alphabet. If you know your alphabet the I would image that you know 3 is THREE not TREE and you know that WHAT is not WHa?
I would think that knowing you're talking to someone on the telephone you would want to be CLEAR about everything you say.
SO WHY THE FUCK DO PEOPLE NOT KNOW HOW TO FUCKING ARTICULATE?
It drives me mad! FUCKING right up the wall. Maybe it's because I had to take a speech class because my first language wasn't English. HOWEVER, If my first language is not English AND my English is BETTER then yours, whose first language IS English I THINK WE HAVE A FUCKING PROBLEM!
I work in a call center. Do you know how hard my job is simple because people don't know what "T" and "R" and "S" is? "Please Speak clearly." Turns into "God I hope they speak English well."
Just articulate. That's all. If you need help, Ask the nearest Elementary student. They can help you with the alphabet. Seriously. Articulate.

Current mood: disappointed
Category: Music
I'm not sure how to start this. I've never actually listened to an album from start to finish to critique it, but when a friend of mine told me the new Girugamesh was disappointing I had to wonder if that was even possible. I've never heard of anything that would be disappointing from them, so I had to listen for myself.
I have to say...
It IS disappointing.
During the first song (not the Intro), Break Down, I thought I had started an Alice Nine song by mistake. This isn't the Girugamesh I know. I restarted the song, just in case my computer was bugging. Nope. I wasn't wrong.
There's no sense in me going through the cd song by song, but some of the songs sound like mimics from The Gazette, and Dir En Grey. WTF?
I used to be able to count on Girugamesh for original, unique music. I listen to it, and theere is no mistaking it for anyone else's music. Now, they've fallen into the trend. I had hoped it wouldn't have happened, like so many of the other bands. I had hoped they were stronger then that. Obviously not.
I'm not sure what to think about this trend following Girugamesh. Hopefully, they'll go back to the old ways. I'm not holding my breath, but I'm hoping... otherwise I think they'll be lost in the sea of so many of the other "trend" bands.
At this point I can only say good luck to them, and this album, compared to the other is very very very sadly lacking.
