The official 'tangible' release of our newest EP 'At Ease With Your Haste' is yet to be determined, but the digital release is NOW! We have completed the mastering and all that, and its available at Insound.com
In case you missed it, we are iKiLLCaRS. You know it. That's Lanyo Bourgeoise and Johny Law rattling out vocals and guitar and bass noises. Featuring Mike Fonseca on these At Ease sessions drums. Mike not only banged the shit out of the drums here, but also helped out with the arrangements on a few tunes here. That kinda cred goes a long way. Right.
These tracks were recorded and mixed at the Bubble here in Austin by Frenchie and CB. They rocked it. And then mastered by Jeff Lipton @ Peerless Mastering. Big fuck yeahs to all yall. And to you listeners too. Buy the shit here....

And read what some folks are saying about it...
Matt Coppens, Terminal Boredom - "iKillCars is a three piece Austin, TX punk rock band combining many elements of garage, post-punk, and straightforward punk, sounding like a good mix of Velvet Underground, Television, Minutemen, and the best of the 1980's SST bands. It's really a very unique and refreshing sound all their own. It's catchy, hard, weird, and just really fucking good. This is what the Velvet Underground would have sounded like if Lou Reed were growing up in 1980's Southern California. You get 5 songs that sound nothing like the previous track before it. Very solid release."
The Austinist - "In case the name embodying misplaced aggression spelled in an unorthodox fashion that says, "You know what, I don't have to follow your stupid rules of capitalization!" coupled with members' pseudonyms like Johnny Law didn't clue you in, these guys play garagey, punk/rock and roll. The Austin trio's second EP, At Ease With Your Haste, released last month, is replete with distorted guitar riffs, grubby vocals borrowing verse from Allen Ginsberg and steady, medium-paced beats.
One of the stand-out tracks on the 5-song disc is "Hartsfield-Jackson". It has a jangly grit to it, and the scratchy vocals and unpolished production give the track a great rock and roll sound that's hard not to enjoy. When you get to "The Teeners" and you hear the group – guitarist and vocalist Law, bassist and vocalist Lanyo Bourgeois – along with what sounds like a few others singing along to a chorus of "We love The Teeners!" it's hard to decipher whether or not this is a genuine shout-out of appreciation to another Austin band or it's meant to be sarcastic and there's a hip-hop-style rivalry here. It's probably the former, but what do you think?"
