Hi, it is getting really cold here in Japan...

We have just finished recording our new song and a cover song of Evylock " Earth Song".  Also new version of "A Simple Thing" will be covered by Nature Living!!!

This special split album will be out early next year!!!  We should be able to up our new song really soon! 

BTW, the show with Raging Speedhorn was amazing.  The show was great and the crowd was great, what can I expect more... especially the time we spend after the show at pizza party will stay in our heart.  We really love hanging around with them.  I had chance to talk with John and David and they were really nice!  They still have 3shows left this weekend so don't miss them!

We've just finished Crazy Fest tour (we've added some pcitures) with Evergreen Terrace, Acorrs Five Aprils, Hollow Jan, Nature Living, Evylock last week.

I t was really great experience for us to take part in such a big tour.  Evey band played awesome shows every night and we're really inspired by them.

Anyway, now the tour has ended and we are now looking some new songs to be recorded in next week or so.  We should be albe to release some of  our new songs early next year. 

Also we are going to play with Raging Speedhorn on 24th of November!  This is going to be their farewell tour and be last show that you can ever see!

Thanks for supporting us all the time and your messages made us be patient and we waited and waited for a new singer to appear.

And last Saturday, we finally met a best singer we have ever played with.  His name is Hiroki Nakamori and he will be LOST's new singer from now on.

We have already started making new songs and 1 song will be up and we will set the song for free to download for limited period on myspace so please check the song out when it is up!

This is something we can do for everyone who believe in us coming back and supporting us all the time.

Hayato Taguchi / LOST

First of all, I have to apologize for not replying any emails and not writing anything updated for several months.   As soon as we got back from the last tour (Unseen Sight Tour 2007) we had really hard time.  Yusuke(Guitar) and Oh-Morry(Bass) decided to leave the band after hours and hours of discussion.  We should explain the reason why they had to leave this band.  Yusuke wanted to play some other kind of music and he was feeling bored with the music we have been playing for many many years.  What made us suffer was that we can't change our music like that. Anyway, both of us are happy about this decision after all and things are slightly going well so far.  Oh-Morry left the band for more personal reason so he is still part of the band.  He's not playing the bass for LOST that's all.  

 With regards to new members, we have already found great guys; Sakamotar(ex-SEASICK), and Yoshida(ex-Fumas).  With these new members, LOST will start working as a band from next March.  We are already working on new songs so hopefully after the tour with THE INTEGRAL in February and tour with TAKEN in March, we will be in studio for new stuff!  Please look forward to listening to the new songs with the brand new members!

Hi everyone,

Thanks a lot for reading my boring journal... but I wanted to write something about our new EP "Unseen Sights" since it was released today!

First of all, I would like to thank to everyone who supported us and have been helping us and believing in us.  WIthout your help and support we could never have done any of these.  LOST was formed in Kansai area in 1998 and we have been together for 9 years.   We are not really fast-paced active band so this EP that we have just relased is still 2nd CD that we have released.  When I think back on days that I spend for this a band, a lot things happened to us flashed back.  At the same time, I am really pround of what we have been doing and this EP we have made.  It took almost half a year to record and relased this CD and it was never an easy thing to get to this far.

Sometimes we severely talked ages about what we want to do and how much each one of us can focus on this band and sacrifice other things in our life.  It was not easy for us to do something new, something no one has really thought about it.  Some of new songs are sung in Japanese and that is one example of our new attempts that we did on this EP.  A lot of singer of Japanese bands don't sing a song in Japanese somehow and that was the same for LOST as well for a long time.  I mean every lyrics in our last album were in English.  There are some reasons for this.  One is there are too many vowels in Japanese to sing a rock song.  For instance, "Ohayogozaimasu"(meaning good morning" has 8 vowels that make melody sounds really weird sometimes especially when you want to sing with a rock music. 

Well, there are only two songs from our new EP on myspace but there are 4 more songs in the EP so we hope you would listen to our other songs if you have a chance to buy our new EP somehow.  I think though CD BABY you can buy our new CD from next month in USA and Nanimato in EU also from next month I hope. 

There are too many things I want to write but I gotta go now so I will write some more in a few weeks!

Hello our friends,

It is already Decemeber!!! Wow!!! Time flies... 
Now we are getting almost ready for the recording next year.  We have finished writing 4 songs so far and another song is about to finish.

This 5 tracks will be recorded as an EP early next year.  We are really excited about this new EP.  There are few reasons.  
After 2nd guitarist YUSUKE has joined LOST, we have talked about what kind of music LOST could play, what's best for us and all that kind of things together for days and days.   And we had so many battles during the process of making these songs... and therefore these 4 tracks sound quite different from what we used to sound  in a way.  But that's the point of changing band member I think.   So, we are all pround and love the way we are now because we sound like absolutely no one!

Anyway, there are more news about this EP which excite us a lot but a few things are not sorted out yet so I will write about them later on.

Hello everyone who visited our space, thank you so much. I guess many people don't know anything about us so I will write who we are and what we do in daily life. By the way, my name is T.A.G and I play the drums in LOST. I also run an indies label called ZESTONE RECORDS in Japan. Actually, noone but I can write English so I will be writing this blog. Fisrt of all, what we are doing right now is writing many songs for next album. Process of writing is really different since new guitarist Yusuke joined late in last year.
