This is just a great way to pray, I had a seen it before, but i truly needed to be refreshed

1. Your thumb is nearest you . So begin your prayers by praying for those closest to you. They are the easiest to remember. To pray for our loved ones is, as C. S. Lewis once said, a 'sweet duty.'

2. The next finger is the pointing finger. Pray for those who teach, instruct and heal. This includes teachers, doctors, and ministers. They need support and wisdom in pointing others in the right direction. Keep them in your prayers.

3. The next finger is the tallest finger. It reminds us of our leaders. Pray for the president, leaders in business and industry, and administrators. These people shape our nation and guide public opinion. They need God's guidance .

4. The fourth finger is our ring finger. Surprising to many is the fact that this is our weakest finger, as any piano teacher will testify. It should remind us to pray for those who are weak, in trouble or in pain. They need your prayers day and night. You cannot pray too much for them.

5. And lastly come s our little finger
- the smallest finger of all which is where we should place ourselves in relation to God and others. As the Bible says, 'The least shall be the greatest among you.' Your pinkie should remind you to pray for yourself. By the time you have prayed for the other four groups, your own needs will be put into proper perspective and you will be able to pray for yourself more effectively.

Hello misslowery
Thanks for uploading "Grandma Baby" to GarageBand.com. Congratulations are in order! Your song did a bang up job in Round 1 of the Active Contest, and held its own against some stiff competition. It's been reviewed by folks all over the world, been subjected to raw, unfiltered scrutiny from people you don't even know...and guess what?.... They liked it! The blood, sweat and tears have paid off.

Your song made it to the upper echelon of its genre, and will now move on to the next level to battle it out with its peers in Round 2. Songs in Round 2 will move through an entirely new review cycle, to be reviewed and ranked against the other top songs in their genre. We'll measure your new ranking based on a combination of this new data and the old data. When the dust settles, those left standing at the top of the charts will get a shot at moving on to Round 3 and be one step closer to getting played on Yahoo! Launch radio.

If you have any questions about the review process, please check out the updated Review Process FAQ.

"Grandma Baby" finished at 26 in Blues.

In addition to moving up on our active charts, "Grandma Baby" will still remain available in our All-time charts and you can continue to monitor its status on your Song Profile page.

Thanks for your support.

The real Deal
Piano here is kickin' and playin' the blues like some kind a monster. The vocal is right on target and there ain't no complaints from me....hearin' a piano vocal, kickin' like this makes me just boogie woogie baby and listen.

Smooth traditional
Nice smooth really cool New Orleans piano - Professor Longhair style - with just the piano and vocal, there's a lot to be required from the vocal, which maybe be the weak point here, as the phrasing could be more on-the-spot.

Piano man, and diva girl
The kind of a performance that instantly makes me say, "That's what I'm talkin' about!" This is a timeless performance. Sounds fresh yet classic. Love the minimal arrangement.

Grand! ma
Grandma sounds alittle like Etta. Great voice. Very laid back! Keyboards are flawless. Felt like I was in the club, without all the extra racket, good production!

exactly why I love the blues...
Lead vocal: This could have been recorded back in 1932 and still be rockin' today! My Uncle Joe would be eatin' his heart out to hear this girl sing! Woo-eee she can go! I wanted it to go on forever! Sweet sweet melody.

Piano: Tickle'd me senseless. What a great throw-back tune. Thanks for the entry. I loved it all the way to the end.
Great job!

Good voice, Good song
I really like this song. She has a very good voice. I like the lyrics too.

The piano is good. Standard blues progression, but with an original flair to it. Very nice.

Great Piano Blues
This one's tough! I have to admit that I'm a keyboard player do I'm prejudiced. the question is, is this a piano player with a vocal accompanist or a vocalist with a piano accompanist? Either way it's a really cool track and shows that the blues doesn't just belong to guitarist and harpists.

Nice piano/vocals blues
Is this a real piano? If so it's a breath of fresh air! Vocals could definitely be turned up more. They sound very separate from the piano which isn't a good thing. Refreshing to hear some stripped down 12-bar blues. Vocals aren't particularly good though. Not a very appealing song, but I do enjoy the piano playing.

Nice piano intro and vocals. Like the Billy Holliday trip. I really love the production, arrangement, and the lyrics. Very back home Mississippi style blues tune. Kudos for the saloon feel, hot summer night sound. Good stuff!

my song Goodbye, Goodbye My Love

I guess cabin fever can make many people do many things

but this all started because of Dustin Lowery and I thank him

he did this unbelievable beat on Pro tools for this old song of mine

then Corey took it to another level, but the song was just there and here's some of the comments about it at various places:

thanks everyone!

great songwriting and awesome vocals, thank you Carol! the production sounds clear and powerful, good job Corey! great work, i love it.

Superb song with a high class production (not too clean) that leaves the music enough room to breathe...
Playing and vox are awesome too.
Love it.
Hans

Nothing succeeds like heartfelt honesty (at least in music...in my own opinion) and this song has it in powerful abundance. I could go on with comparisons to heros of my own like John Prine or Tracy Nelson but the bottom line is I BELIEVE this song and the strong performance of it. The vocals sound assured of a future, sadness deflated by a deep courage of the soul. The song sounds... feels... real & true.

knew as soon as this song started it was going to be good great vocal sound, every note right on sang with feeling. instruments sound great, love the mix, production. great song

Hello Carol, nice to see ya over here. Just like i said on your myspace page, this is a pro sounding track. Your singing is very strong and pitch perfect.

This is a recording to be proud of.
all the best
Shane
