Deutsch:Christoph Mueller wird in kürze Teil der Sonderausstellung Rosetta Stone – Translation. Mutation.
English: Christoph Mueller will be part of the up-coming exhibition Rosetta Stone – Translation. Mutation. Art. which is held at the Jenaer Kunstverein in Jena, Germany. The young artists from four different countries are gathering in Jena for an experimental workshop on the theme of “Communication”. The question being: Can art be used for communication? Each of them contributes a theme which is communicated by artistic means only. The goal is to capture the essence and translate it into another piece of artwork.
Christoph Mueller is looking forward to see you on June 26th in Jena.

These "Angel Drawings" are like songs to me. They tell their stories through their expressions as well as through their tattoos. Each one has a very personal meaning, which is not always easy to explain. But they help me to express the unexplainable. And in that way they ease my mind. They are the light I long for and the unconquerable darkness within me.

Some more good news just in: We are happy to announce that Christoph Mueller will colaborate with Willem Maker on his up-coming CD. Mueller will provide the artwork for the album that will be released by Big Legal Mess Records (a division of Fat Possum Records) next year. Maker and Mueller met during this years Deep Blues Festival in Lake Elmo, MN. Late night hotel bar conversations made it clear that they shared a certain state of mind and the decision to have Mueller do the artwork was made. In the meantime check out Maker's current CD "Stars Fell On" available from Big Legal Mess as well (release date September 2nd).
