Hi all!
Just sending out the big ol' invite for anyone who would like to party with us on Saturday August 29th at 8pm Alberta St Pub!  It's an Irish Pub with good food and great drinks.  Fitting, if you didn't know already Finn is Irish.

Tater & Craig will play some great duet songs and steal your hearts.
Chickweed will play our last set! Oh my!
Then Whiskey Puppy will rock the house!

Last Shows In May for Chickweed!!

Hi there everybody!  Start your holiday weekend early with a Thursday show with Chickweed!

We are sharing the stage tonight with a fantastic band called Hang Jones.  They are touring the Northwest and we are happy to show them our own brand of hospitality!

 

And next weekend, we will have Chickweed's final appearance at the Goldendale Bluegrass Festival!  This is our last and only bluegrass festival appearance this year, and we are honored to be asked back for a third year. Thanks again to Jim Allyn and the Allyn's Do It Best Building Center in downtown Goldendale.  There will be art displays from some very talented artists, and wineries from the area will have booths set up too!  It's free! WOW!

Hi everyone!  Chickweed has something to tell you...

We have just made a new recording with all five gals! And, we have new t-shirts in the mix.  We hope to have them available at our only bluegrass festival show this year, Goldendale Fiddling Around the Stars.  

We are pleased to be playing again for our third time at this wonderful little festival.  And very happy to be sponsored again by Allyn's Building Center!  Jim Allyn has been a great friend and even took us to visit town last time.  We got to meet some great folks and got a very warm welcome.

 

We also have some news, that some of you may already know.  Some of our gals are leaving Portland to join the circus, and we will be playing our last show together on August 29th at Alberta St Pub.  We have filled our summer with many shows, but they will be the last ones for quite awhile.  So come on out and get yer fill of the Chicks! 

We are happy and sad at the same time, and would like to thank everyone for their support.  Please check our schedule frequently and come out to as many shows as you can!  We would like to thank you all in person.

Well, we have had quite a year.  We have been so busy that we can hardly keep up our calendar. Thanks to all of you that have come out to support us!  Thanks to Mike who has given us our very own logo like the big boys.  Thanks especially to our friends that loyally show up at our gigs with smiling faces and even bring new friends!

We are fueling up the VDub and heading down south to sunny California.  We are excited to be on our very first road trip.  I hope the band stays together and we don't lose a limb or something along the way!  And just so you have been warned, we will be taking photos of our trip.  Wait, maybe we should be worries about ourselves? 

Thanks to Shelby Ash for asking us to play.  We hope we don't overstay our welcome and they ask us back...please have us back?

Hey there all you folks that braved the blustery wind and cold to come out and see us play!  This was our first time playing at Duff's and we were more than a little nervous about it.  Josh Cole & Curtis Alsobrook were fantastic!  We cannot express the gratitude we have for those two fine musicians who came out to support us.  They put on such a good show, we weren't sure we could follow them.

We had a few bumps in the road, but what a great time we had!  We were so pleased to see old friends that had come out to support us, and to meet some new ones.  We even met a few myspace friends in the flesh!  Thanks to all you music lovers for coming down, we hope we didn't dissapoint you!  We would also like to thank Duff's Garage and John who bravely agreed to let us play there and for making us sound so good.  A little nice goes a long way!~holly w/chickweed
