Fresh off the amazing "Antarctica" on LVTD009, the Budapest & Paris combination of TACTILE, SPINLINE, MUNK & NAIBU set their sights for darker territories with "Cold Nights". Deceptively simple, "Cold Nights" sets the scene with sharp beats and a deep, driving bassline. Subtle atmospheric effects fade in and out to accentuate the dark and techy soundscapes. a - METHOD ONE 'northstar'

The bells in the intro might distract you from the slowly gathering storm, but watch out — the shimmering guitar textures and a deceptively simple rising progression are merely to set the mood. Before you know it, the bassline switches and things get darker as you are propelled toward the track's conclusion. Combining a solid dancefloor presence with lots of unexpected details, this is an epic tune in the pure Levitated tradition.

b - METHOD ONE & STUNNA 'memento'

All secrets will be revealed as Method One joins Chicago's ever-productive Stunna (Fokuz, Phuzion, BIOS, Phunkfiction) for this smoothed-out roller. The big synth bassline catches your attention right away, but it's the details that will keep you coming back — the lush pads, the subtle references to atmospheric d&b classics, the tight percussion elements and the gorgeous melodic synth solo.

We are proud to announce the release of Levitated Recordings #6--Break "Motion Design" b/w Break+Hydro "Future"--which just hit full release and should be in your local record shops as as you read this, complete with the spiffy new full-color Levitated artwork.

For those of you who are in a digital frame of mind, be patient...we will have a major announcement regarding mp3 sales soon, so stay tuned!

Over the course of the label's history, quite a few people have enquired about sending demos to Levitated Recordings. Now that we finally have a page on Myspace, we would like to take a few minutes to talk about demos and the best/easiest way to send your music to Levitated.

- First off: YES, Levitated does accept demos and would very much like to hear what people are working on. But before sending us a file or a link, we would suggest that you listen to some of our back catalogue (clips are available at http://www.levitated.org or on this myspace page) and see if your music fits with the Levitated style.

- Please only send us completed tracks to review; sending a 30 second clip of some loops you have been experimenting with doesn't help anyone.

- The best way to get a file to us is to stick it on an FTP site and send us the link so we can download it. If you don't have access to your own FTP site, there are plenty of sites (such as yousendit.com) that are available to use for free.
