This is Aric Charles from Three Days Prior.
I would like to thank all our fans for supporting 3DP for the last past four years. It has been a great run. But like they say all good things must come to an end. A few weeks ago the band parted ways sad to say on good terms.

Band member's lives needed to go in different directions.
I feel it has been an accomplishment to be in a band for four years. They say that is a long time for a band.
We accomplished a lot in a four-year span. We all learned so much that has made us better in so many ways.

I would like to also say it was an honor to play with such good musicians and thank the boys for sticking it out threw all the up's and down's. It was a real pleasure guys. You Kats Rock !!!

The 3DP entity is not over though.

Currently, I am going under the name Aric Charles, Maybe Aric Charles and 3DP. I am back to the acoustic, writing new material and finalizing the twelve-song album hopefully to be out summer 2008. I am also moving back to NYC to pursue my music further, form a new band, make NYC connections, make my acoustic set more kick ass, take acting classes, join a play maybe and finally get started building guitars and selling them.

The music that you heard with Three Days Prior will still be played at all shows as well as new material.

Hello everyone,

My friend Wood and I went tonight to see Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood. It was the best show ever !!! Clapton was Flawless! He did not miss a note... Perfectly on key.I had love for Clapton.But tonight it was brought to the next level. He achieved monster tone. He made his Strat's sound like Santana's
PRS lush,creamy tone. It was like he had Gibson 57's in a Strat... Giant BIG,BIG tone.

And Steve Winwood,Holy shit Batman.That man can sing... He also knows his way around a Strat as well... I was in awe the whole night.

Wood and I had the best time. It was well worth the $250.00 ticket.Well worth it.
Just to know your in the same room with someone who has played with the best players in the world.
It's like you are part of them as well.

BTW, I need to Blog about the santana Concert I went to last year. Now that I blogging...Don't let me forget.

A big thanks to Wood for loaning me the $$$ for the concert and my friend Mark who sold us the tickets.

And Eric Clapton for playing that beautiful note in Voodoo Child. It gave me the utter chills.

Things are really looking up^^^

Saturday night's bill at Up or On The Rocks was a hot one, as it featured two of the newer bands on Hartford's alt-rock scene: 3 Days Prior and Dharma Brown. I first caught 3 Days Prior in a cramped club in Southington, and I liked them, but Saturday's set was absolutely stellar. On a proper stage with a good P.A., they were larger than life. Singer and guitarist Aric McNemar not only has great stage charisma and excellent pitch, but he was able to nail solo after engaging solo. The room steadily packed in more and more bodies as they played. The band's coordination was also seamless: At one point, McNemar's solo came to a screeching halt as the band ceased behind him and he held a gargantuan long note, sounding as though he were taking a running leap off a cliff. Just as the note began to fade, drummer Chuck McGrane came in with an excruciatingly slow hip-hop beat. Now that's some cinematic funk.
