Il viaggio nel tempo è possibile. Se ne volete una prova, interrompete tutto quello che state facendo e concedetevi mezz’ora: è quanto dura We cut our fingers in July.

Registrato all’Outside Inside studio con la complicità di Matteo Bordin dei Mojomatics, le tracce suonano calde, vibranti, sudate... anacronisticamente analogiche (da “gustarsele” in vinile) e, quindi, incredibilmente moderne.

“John Titor’s amazing journey to the past”  è il primo singolo scelto per le radio e per la realizzazione del videoclip; racconta del misterioso viaggiatore del tempo (John Titor) che sconvolse i forum del web all’inizio del XXI secolo, tornato dal futuro per salvare il nostro pianeta.

I TUNAS ci porteranno indietro nel 2008, o avanti nel 1965; sono solo punti di vista, l’importante è continuare a ballare.

EAT THE LEECHES

il nuovo album dei Leeches

in uscita a Maggio (CD/DIGITAL)

Uscirà il 9 Maggio in tutti i negozi di dischi e, successivamente, in digital download, il secondo album dei LEECHES. Prodotto da Tre Accordi Records e co-editato da Warner Chappell-Salazoo, "Eat The Leeches"  raccoglie 13 brani dalle sonorità punk-rock'n'roll di matrice classica, personalizzati con l'inconfondibile stile "fat rock" della band.

L'album, presentato in anteprima al Musicdrome di Milano, sarà distribuito in Italia da Self in tutti i negozi di dischi, in Svizzera da Nextpunk e via mailorder attraverso il sito Interpunk.

Se il primo album ha reso perfettamente l'idea di quello che sono i LEECHES, il secondo è il documento comprovante il valore artistico della band.

Icone dell'antiestetico e dell'antivirtuosismo, i LEECHES non fanno segreto degli ingredienti che li hanno portati ad avere un ottimo seguito: abbondanti dosi di divertimento, musica e cibo. 

...e forse, per il fatto che i grassi fanno simpatia!

Mercoledì 16 Aprile sul palco milanese del Musicdrome, in occasione del supporto a Danko Jones per l’unica data italiana, i LEECHES presenteranno in anteprima il nuovo album "Eat The Leeches".
Tredici brani di grezzo punk’n’roll, personalizzato dall’inconfondibile stile "fat rock" della band.

L’album, prodotto da Tre Accordi Records, sarà disponibile nei negozi di dischi a partire dal mese di Maggio (distribuito in esclusiva da Self) e, successivamente, in digital download, attraverso le principali piattaforme digitali.

Il tanto atteso nuovo album dei Leeches sarà pubblicato dalla Tre Accordi Records.
Tredici brani originali tra i quali spicca la ormai popolare "Reign in Food", in una nuova versione studio e "King Kong", brano gettonatissimo sul MySpace della band.

Il risultato è un eccellente lavoro di songwriting dalle sonorità punk/r’n’r.

L’album (dal titolo provvisorio "Eat The Leeches") sarà pubblicato su supporto cd e distribuito anche in digitale.

TV Smith, la leggendaria voce degli Adverts, sarà in Italia a metà febbraio.

Due appuntamenti dal vivo in cui Smith si esibirà sia in versione acustica che elettrica, accompagnato da una prestigiosa backing band: i Valentines.

Complice di questa collaborazione anche la loro impeccabile interpretazione di "One Chord Wonders" recentemente pubblicata sul tributo "PUNK 77 07" per il trentennale punk e particolarmente piaciuta al leader degli Adverts.

TV Smith, si esibirà il 14 febbraio al  Transilvania di Bologna e il 16 febbraio a Savona al Raindogs, all’interno di un festival di tre giorni organizzato da TrueLove Produzioni e Kriminal Class (sempre per il trentennale punk).

In questa data anche i Valentines suoneranno dal vivo.

Venerdì 12 ottobre al Surfer’s Den di Milano sarà presentato il CD tributo al trentennale Punk.

23 band italiane, selezionate tra le migliori del panorama musicale alternativo, interpretano altrettanti brani scelti dal repertorio di nomi internazionali come Ramones, Sex Pistols, Damned, Clash, Buzzcocks, Sham 69 e tanti altri.

La presentazione, che avrà inizio alle ore 19.00 , sarà aperta al pubblico e saranno distribuite copie omaggio per gli addetti ai lavori.

Seguirà un rinfresco offerto dallo staff del Surfer’s Den, accompagnato dall’ascolto in anteprima dell’intero album, per concludere con un dj set in tema punk ’77.

E’ in stampa "PUNK 77 - 07", un omaggio "made in Italy" al Punk che trent’anni fa esplodeva in tutto il mondo.

Prodotto da Self e Tre Accordi Records, l’album contiene 23 cover di brani classici, scelti dal repertorio di nomi internazionali come Ramones, Sex Pistols, Damned, Clash, Buzzcocks, Sham 69 e tanti altri, eseguiti e interpretati dalle più rappresentative band italiane del circuito alternativo.

Il cd, stampato in 10.000 copie, sarà allegato ad un libretto esterno di 32 pagine che, oltre alla presentazione degli artisti partecipanti, conterrà tre interventi firmati da Federico Guglielmi, Marco Philopat e Stefano Gilardino. L’uscita di questo album avrà qualcosa di speciale: non solo si troverà in tutti i negozi di dischi e in digital download, ma sarà distribuito da Self anche in tutte le edicole ad un prezzo di euro 9,90.
L’album sarà prossimamente presentato in anteprima al locale Surfer’s Den di Milano.

Smentita la notizia che sta circolando riguardo lo scioglimento dei TRANSEX!!!
La band è solamente in stand-by per il cambio del batterista.

La fonte che annuncia lo scioglimento della band è un testo scritto da Manolo e pubblicato sulla pagina personale di Myspace (e da noi ripreso in un primo tempo), seguito poi da smentita.

Il bassista, infatti, dopo una discussione animata con gli altri componenti, ha ammesso che in un momento di tensione ha sfogato la sua amarezza scrivendo l’annuncio di cui sopra.

I TRANSEX assicurano il ritorno in scena appena la nuova formazione si sarà stabilizzata.

Ci scusiamo con tutti quelli che hanno letto il post (ora rimosso) che annunciava lo scioglimento della band.

Qui il post in cui Manolo smentisce lo scioglimento della band nel suo classico stile.

TRANSEX are still alive!
The band is just on "stand-by" on a temporary base due to the quitting of their drummer.

The bulletin in which was stated that the band was over has been written by bass player Dallas and published on the band’s Myspace page (and it has been taken has true even by us in the first hours).
Dallas refuted the news this morning saying that it was written on the verge of a heavy discussion with the other members of the band.

TRANSEX assure they’ll be back on the scenes as soon as possible.

We apologise to everyone who has read the post in this blog that was confirming the latterly refuted piece of news about the splittimg of the band.

I’m very happy the page is finally working fine.
Today we reached the number of 69 friends: it should bring good luck! ; )
I’ll be changing some songs in a few weeks, let’s say...a month?

I was also thinking about posting a few pics of Transex and The Valentines playing in Milan ...they’re old, but sure they are "previously unreleased" as they say. Specially having those lazy Transex boys crossing the Rubicone (yeah that’s aserious link...you ignorants!) to conquer Milan was something that deserved to be documented.
I’ll see what I can do about this.

I was to decide which was the fourth song to upload and I chose to take a trip back in time: "Motherfuckin’ Town" from Thee [almighty] S.T.P was the A-side of the first release of TreAccordi Rec. back in 1999.

To me, with its swingin nasty feeling, still remains one of their best songs!

Thee S.T.P. re-released it not a long time ago on a retrospective "best of" compilation called "Bring the bastards back home".

The original 7" ist still available though...

A fourth song will be uploaded soon.
As you may have noticed you can’t find none of these songs on any of the bands’ Myspace pages: consider this a as kind of gift I know you can’t download’em, but you get the chance to listen to a different song from each band from the ones you may already know! Plus, I have the intention of rotating the songs quite often, so that you’ll hear some new stuff every now & then.
