Hi,

As part of the Dublin Electronic Arts Festival 2009, I'll be playing a short gig in the Sugar Club in Dublin next week, Thursday the 29th of October, with ElectroCelt (Geoffrey Keogh) as support act to Ulrich Schnauss who returns to Irish shores for this special Halloween gig.

Tickets are 15 Euro available online from www.tickets.ie or direct from Geoff (phone 00353 1 8330420).

I'm pleased to say that Ulrich Schnauss will soon be playing in Derry, in the Orchard Gallery @ St Columbs Hall,  on June 28th in fact.  Admission £9.  Tickets available from the Nerve Centre.

Line-up:

Ulrich Schnauss (Live)
Ricky Graham (Live)
Stephen McCauley (Electric Mainline)
Vincent O'Callaghan

Kicks off at 6.30pm according to the ticket, and runs to 10pm.

This gig could prove to be one of the highlights of 2009 I think.

This year's Ricochet Gathering event will take place in scenic Croatia by the Mediterranean Sea from the 23rd - 30th May 2009. The theme this year will be a tribute to Tangerine Dream's classic 'Underwater Sunlight' CD (a particular favourite of my own).  This will be my fifth year (wow - has it been that many?!) participarting in this great electronic music jam super-event (previously in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2008).  I'll be one of 16 musicians participating at this week long event.   As ever I'm looking forward to the improvised electronic music jam sessions that will take place there and the recordings we'll make (hopefully for future release).

This year's Ricochet Gathering event will take place in Romania from the 9th - 16th November 2008. I'll be one of the musicians participating at this week long event. I'm looking forward to the improvised electronic music jam sessions that will take place there. This will be my fourth year participating (previously in 2004, 2005, 2006).

Despite a low-key announcement on the Electric Picnic website, it has been confirmed that Ulrich Schnauss returns to Ireland for the fourth time in the last year to play on Saturday 30th August in Stradbally (2pm).  Tickets are sold out, so if you are going - check out Ulrich's set - I'm sure it will be sublimely beautiful!

Kraftwerk to play Wicklow hills in September 2008

In case you haven't heard, Kraftwerk return to Ireland for what is being billed as 'their only western European concert in 2008' (they will also play in Poland this year). Should be a great gig in a beautiful location in the Wicklow hills. Also on the bill will be Soulwax, Comtron, Boxcutter, The Jimmy Cake, Dark Room Notes and D1 DJs. Hope to see you there...

Hi there,

The very talented Ulrich Schnauss returns to Ireland quite soon and will play a gig in my home town, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal as part of the Earagail Arts Festival 2008. This event takes place on Friday the 11th of July in the Grill Music Venue and will be a musical highlight of the summer. Ham Sandwich support and are a lively contrast in style! ;-)
