So, hang on, no, I'm NOT committing suicide. However, I also feel this is important for people to read, especially those who are/feel they're in their darkest hours and/or are considering suicide, as one of my friend's friends (I did not know the person, I simply knew OF them...) killed himself Tuesday, January 13th, 2009, the day before this blog was posted. Suicide isn't cool. It's not right. It's not going to "fix" your problems. It's selfish - Excuse me for being blunt, but it is. It seems to be "ME! ME! ME!" I want this problem gone. I don't care. It's selfish. It's thinking about you and ONLY you. You're not thinking about who you'll hurt. It's NOT the only or the best way out - Simply put, it isn't! If you're reading this, you're probably someone who knows me - though maybe you aren't if you're scanning myspace and happen to stumble upon this. But if you know me, I would hope you would know you can come to me for anything. Call me. Text me. IM me. Myspace or facebook message me. Wake me up pounding on my window at 4 AM when I've gotta get up for work at 7:30 AM. I don't care! Get ahold of me if you need to talk! If you need to vent! If you just need someone to be with you PERIOD! You are NOT alone! And I guarantee you, I'm not the only one who'll be willing to help you. Your TRUE friends - not those who you may get high with, it might not be your drinking buddy, the people you go to parties with every weekend, it might not even be that person you hang out with every few days to have some fun. But there's someone you talk to. Even if it's someone you know only online from maybe a game or having similar interests, TALK TO THEM! People will HELP YOU. People will BE THERE for you. True friends will NOT let you down... don't let them down. Time will NOT heal and with NOT forget - That's right! You may think "In time, people will forget about me." or "In time, this will heal my mistakes or my suicide." No... it won't. Time, if anything, will make it HARDER. Friends, parents, family, people you don't even know, it'll hurt them. It'll practically kill them. This will NEVER go away. This will NEVER be forgotten. It will not fix anything - Suicide will not fix your mistakes. However big, however small, how ever many or however few mistakes you've made, it will NOT FIX THEM! You going out and ADDRESSING them is the only way to fix them. Some may not forgive you - that is their choice, their decision, and it's something they'll have to deal with - but you working to try to mend a mistake, to fix it, that is what counts. By committing suicide, you're not wiping the slate clean. You're simply setting those mistakes into stone. You're not giving yourself a chance to fix them; you're not giving them a chance to forgive you. Even if it big - murder? rape? Or something comparatively smaller... a bully? theft? Who knows. But it's in your past. You can choose to set your mistakes into stone or you can choose to fix them. And while it may be painful at first, it will release you afterwards. And you may have never felt better. Speaking of setting in stone - Your whole LIFE. Your whole PAST. That will be set in stone. In the past were you a bully? A manipulator? A drug addict? That best friend of someone? Good or bad or indifferent, without a future, you are what you were. The moment you kill yourself, it's down in the history books. "Joe was a douche." or "Mary was a slut." or whatever it may be. --- Your past is just that. Your PAST. Your mistakes are just that. Your MISTAKES. Those cannot be changed by killing yourself. However, your future... that is something you can go ahead and do as you please with. Only you can take that away from yourself. Your future are blank pages waiting to be written. You can make a change in your life. You can fix your mistakes, you can put your right foot forward from this day on. You can seek those TRUE friends. You can say, "I am not a douche. I am not a slut. I am not a thief. I am not a rapist. I am not a..." whatever. YOU have that power. ONLY you have that power. You can make your problems go away. You can have TRUE friends and family to help you through your problems. You can go to those you have wronged and work to mend the situation(s) with them. Again, it is their choice rather to forgive you, but you put in the effort, you cared enough to at least attempt to fix it. That's what counts, and that will release plenty of your pain, problems, misery from you. But by committing suicide, you will never have the chance to fix the problem. It's the one mistake you can never attempt to fix. Because you are the ONLY one who can make that attempt. And without life, you cannot attempt to fix it, thus you can NEVER fix other mistakes. You can never mend the broken hearts. You can never change what's put in the history books. You can never address who you are as a person. You can never do another thing again. Because you are no more. You're only in the books, only in the memory, only in the grave or ashes. Nothing more. Don't commit suicide. And please... talk to someone, me - even if we don't know eachother - or anyone else, if you are feeling the need to commit suicide. It's ultimately only on you, that is true. But please, talk to someone and you will be surprised that there are other, better options, and ones that'll help your pain go away without putting pain on others.

NOTE: I did not type this, rather got it from here. Thought it was so good, though, that I wanted to share it...

This is one of the best explanations of why God allows pain and suffering that I have seen. It's an explanation other people will understand.
A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed. As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation. They talked about so many things and various subjects.
When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said: "I don't believe that God exists."
"Why do you say that?" asked the customer.
"Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist. Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain. I can't imagine a loving a God who would allow all of these things."
The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument. The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop.
Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and unkempt.
The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber: "You know what? Barbers do not exist."
"How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber. "I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!"
"No!" the customer exclaimed. "Barbers don't exist because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside."
"Ah, but barbers DO exist! What happens is, people do not come to me."
"Exactly!"- affirmed the customer. "That's the point! God, too, DOES exist! What happens, is, people don't go to Him and do not look for Him. That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."

Does evil exist?
The university professor challenged his students with this question. Did God create everything that exists? A student bravely replied, "Yes, he did!"
"God created everything? The professor asked.
"Yes sir", the student replied.
The professor answered, "If God created everything, then God created evil since evil exists, and according to the principal that our works define who we are then God is evil". The student became quiet before such an answer. The professor was quite pleased with himself and boasted to the students that he had proven once more that the Christian faith was a myth.
Another student raised his hand and said, "Can I ask you a question professor?"
"Of course", replied the professor.
The student stood up and asked, "Professor, does cold exist?"
"What kind of question is this? Of course it exists. Have you never been cold?" The students snickered at the young man's question.
The young man replied, "In fact sir, cold does not exist. According to the laws of physics, what we consider cold is in reality the absence of heat. Every body or object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits energy, and heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy. Absolute zero (-460 degrees F) is the total absence of heat; all matter becomes inert and incapable of reaction at that temperature. Cold does not exist. We have created this word to describe how we feel if we have no heat."
The student continued, "Professor, does darkness exist?"
The professor responded, "Of course it does."
The student replied, "Once again you are wrong sir, darkness does not exist either. Darkness is in reality the absence of light. Light we can study, but not darkness. In fact we can use Newton's prism to break white light into many colors and study the various wavelengths of each color. You cannot measure darkness. A simple ray of light can break into a world of darkness and illuminate it. How can you know how dark a certain space is? You measure the amount of light present. Isn't this correct? Darkness is a term used by man to describe what happens when there is no light present."
Finally the young man asked the professor, "Sir, does evil exist?"
Now uncertain, the professor responded, "Of course as I have already said. We see it every day. It is in the daily example of man's inhumanity to man. It is in the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world. These manifestations are nothing else but evil."
To this the student replied, "Evil does not exist sir, or at least it does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is not like faith, or love that exist just as does light and heat. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God's love present in his heart. It's like the cold that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no light."
The professor sat down.
The young man's name — Albert Einstein.

SOME OF THE GREATEST QUOTES I THINK...

THE GREATEST COMMANDMENT Hearing that Jesus had silences the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. One of them, an expert in ther law, tested him with this question: "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?"

Things are going WAY to far... the government going onto peoples private property to keep watch on what they do, unnecessary search and seizure, etc. And now illegal phone recordings.
If we let this continue, we will be living in the world of 1984 - a very scary thought indeed! After all, if we don't take a stand now, putting a stop to the government going against our constitutional rights and those alotted to us through the Bill of Rights, there will be nothing to stop them from continually taking more and more rights away from us over time without our consent. And then, years down the road when we say "Wow, wow, what do you think you're doing?!" they're simply say, "Doing what you're allowing us to do." and they'll keep on doing it.
Right now, the majority of the citizens in America are sitting there saying "Oh, it's alright. Let it go. They're doing this to protect us, and it's fine." by either saying nothing or actually saying that. The problem is what I just said above - they'll keep doing it. It's human nature to get as much power as we can get. And the more power, the more corrupt humans usually become - and the government is made up of a number of powerful humans. See where this is headed?
This is not a matter of "Big Brother is watching over us and protecting us..." this is a matter of "Big Brother wants to get away our rights under the name of protection." This must STOP!
Voice your opinions! Start or sign petitions! If you're of voting age, VOTE! And not for the "lesser of two evils", but of the right choice. We, as Americans, have the RESPONSIBILITY and, at this time, THE ABILITY, to stop this and make a change. Years down the road, however, when freedom of speak is completely or mostly taken away, when the right to peacefully protest is gone, when the right to take action is removed, that ability will vanish. LET US BEGIN MAKING CHANGES WILL WE STILL CAN!

Well, I know I should have posted this in the past, but I haven't until now... This blog is putting my views and inquiries on the table for all to view and discuss and comment on...
I want to know, why does everyone make such a big issue out of race and color? Ok, sure, he's black, she's yellow, that boys white, so on and so forth. So what!
While we shouldn't become color-blind - color and race is, after all, part of who makes us ourselves - we need to disregard that as a factor to base our views on what someone is. Not all blacks are gangsters, not all Latinos are rapists, not all Middle Easterners are terrorists, not all Native Americans are uneducated, not all whites are ignorant assholes, not all Asians are kamakazi's, and so forth.
We need to base what we think someone is on who they are - are they assholes, are they murderers, are they kind, and so forth. Murderers are colorblind. Terrorists are colorblind. Rapists are colorblind. Unfortunately, stereotypes are not.
So, why? Why does everyone make such a big issue over race? I know people who, unfortunately, stereotype or hate specific races, colors... and I know that, unfortunately, because I look white, I'm judged by "people of color" - which, going off that, what is a "person of color", after all, aren't white people "color" as well? - as some white person who "just doesn't understand" or maybe is "racist against 'my people'", and so forth.
I wish for all that judging to go away. I have friends of all colors. I myself am half Japanese, and my sister is half Japanese and half Black. One of my closest friends is Pakastanian. I've had great friends of all colors and races. I see no problem with any one specific race or color.
Sorry if I repeat myself multiple times... when I get worked up over something, I tend to say some points multiple times. So bare with me!
Anyway, racism is a major issue. Luckily, from what I've seen, it's gotten better. The KKK and similar organizations have become far weaker. Many of my generation are far, far more willing to talk to people and hang out with people and befriend people who, 50 years ago, they likely would have been burning crosses in their yards or hating on just because they look different.
I also don't understand those people who are so high up on cloud 9 that they completely and utterly fail to see that racism is a problem. And unfortunately, that's rather common as well.
I also don't get those people who say they're completely colorblind to the point that no matter what the persons color/race is, they fail to see absolutely no difference, as everyone is different.
I'm not saying become colorblind, as that's essentially saying get rid of who we are, what makes us ourselves. What I'm saying is, get rid of the stereotypes that all or most blacks, Latino's, Asians, whites, etc are a certain way.
Now, that's not to say I wouldn't cross the street if I saw a group of black or Latino 'thugs' coming my way. But I would, however, also do the same even if they were white, Asian, or any other 'color'.
No matter what color a person is, if they wanted to cross the street, get by me in a crowded hallway, and so forth, I would stop for them to cross, I would move for them to pass, and so forth.
It's unfortunate that so many people, even those self-proclaimed to be colorblind, will treat specific colors differently, by not stopping or moving for some, while stopping or moving for others.
Please... feel free to comment on what you feel, and ask or answer any questions asked by me or those who post in reply.
Thank you!

READ THIS WHOLE THING! PLEASE HEAR IT OUT BEFORE YOU EXIT!
ALSO! Feel free to repost this in your bulletin, groups, and/or blog!
Alright, ya, I know the majority of you are not interested in politics, things it is boring crap that doesn't apply to you, etc. But, you should have at least a basic idea of politics, its parties, what they do, what they stand for, and what they want. Because rather you think so or not, it is what controls your life.
Many of you are of voting age, or almost voting age. You need to vote, speak your mind, and take an informed stand. Don't just vote for who sounds best or what you hear on the channel you watch (FOX is very conservative, CNN is very liberal, and so forth... C-SPANN is neutral) or because that's the stand your family or friends take. You need to form your own opinion.
You've probably heard this a thousand times, that you should not let others make your decisions. But when it comes to politics, the majority of the people running for office aren't what they appear on the outside. They aren't all nice and looking to limit their owners - they are out to take over your life to one extend or another. Take this to heart, because if you do this, so will others. Then what? Do we hand our lives over to the government on a silver platter?
You need to take a stand. Go to http://groups.myspace.com/JurisNaturalis for a start. Juris Naturalis, or Classical Liberalism (Not Liberal or Civil Libertarian) is is what the founding fathers based America on. While it may not be your view, it is a good place to start, to see what the founding fathers wanted, what they based this country on. It is an excellent start. This is my party affiliation, and proud to be JN. But not everyone will agree. Give it a look, though, and get the basic idea. Learn about other parties. And then take a stand.
Thanks for reading this!
