thanks, Sarah. i haven't posted on this thingamajig since that entry about Kill Bill. but i thought this looked like fun (read: a way to procrastinate a bit). anyway, don't think this means i'm going to get all post-y here or anything! i'm still no huge fan of MySpace. i'll save most of my important things for ari8silver.blogspot.com / ari8silver.livejournal.com (both the same thing, mind you).anyway, here: 1. I've come to realize that my ex......is someone I can care deeply about without loving "in that way". (I don't understand why this thing assumes you only have One Ex, but okay...just assume I mean that about more than one, please....)2. I am listening to......the low hum of the fans of our 5 office computers, and the ticking of my typing. Not much else right now.3. I talk......more than I should at certain times, and less than I should at others. I often get scared that I can't represent myself well when I am trying to speak my mind. I'm absolutely terrible at thinking on my feet -- I much prefer to write.4. I love.....so many things, and so many people. But don't get me wrong -- I'm very selective about who & what to bestow that love upon. I just enjoy quite a variety of things.5. My best friends.....are so good to me. I don't know what I'd do without them.6. My first real kiss......was really very nice.7. I hate it when people......to quote Sarah: "act as if they are the only ones who exist" -- I so concur!! People can be such assholes, and so selfish. I suppose everyone has to be at some point, but I prefer people to do it on their own time. Ugh.8. Love is......a wonderful feeling. To love & to be loved. I wish both, for everyone.p.s. Where is #9?10. Marraige......isn't a word. But if that means "marriage" (hehe) then I'd say it's way overrated & not for me. I wouldn't even want to consider it until my gay friends can also wed, but even then, I just don't care all that much about it. I'm very happy the way things are right now. I do like a commitment, but does it have to be before God, the State, and several dozen people? Why can't it just be between me & my partner? Isn't that who it's really all about, anyway?11. Somewhere, someone is......probably in trouble, and I wish there was more I could do to help. I constantly struggle with the balance of making myself happy & wanting to make sure everyone else is, too. 12. I always......write too much. Emails (and things like these) end up being way too long, because I want to say the same thing 3 different ways (to make sure it sounds good) instead of just once. Or, I feel the need to explain myself more than I probably actually have to. Oy.13. I have a secret crush on......nobody. I have an open crush on Dan, and I tell him that often. :) 14. The last time I cried was because......I saw or read something sad, probably. People would call that "PMSing", but I don't think that's the case for me because I cry at those kinds of things at the drop of a hat, that-time-of-month or no.15. My cell phone......has a Google no-slip-pad on it & an adorable cell phone charm I found in Japan (Hello Kitty in a white radish!), but I am going to have to give up both of those things soon, when I move onto a better plan. Sad!16. When I woke up this morning......I wished that it wasn't a workday again! I've been enjoying my time off. But at least I did get to snuggle a bit before actually having to get out of bed.17. Before I go to sleep at night......I brush my teeth & wash my face. Nothing all that thrilling. Oh, and I change into pajamas. I also usually am half-distracted because there are a zillion things I wanted to get done that day, and I haven't managed to do most of them! Bah.18. Right now I am thinking about......how I really should get back to work. Soon, I promise! I just really needed a break. 19. Babies are......meh. Cute, but not necessarily for me. We'll see how that changes as I get older....20. I get on MySpace......very rarely. Usually only when I have been told someone messaged me (about 3 weeks earlier) or if I am looking someone/something up. I stopped getting those reminder emails from MySpace for some reason, so I just don't remember it as much anymore!21. Today I......have been trying to catch up on everything, after being away since Wednesday. All I want to do is clean the house and catch up on work, but I'm just so overwhelmed by where to start, that I'm on here instead! (this is in the "embarassment" section? lame.)I've sat in a doctors office with a friend: true.I've had my wisdom teeth removed: true.I've had a serious surgery: true. (and more to come.)I've had chicken pox: true.EXPERIENCES:I've gotten lost in a city: true.I've seen a shooting star: true.I've wished on a shooting star: true.I've gone out in public in my pajamas: false.I've pushed all the buttons on an elevator: false.I've made out in an elevator: true.I've been to a casino: true.I've been skydiving: false.I've drank a whole gallon of milk in one hour: false.I've been in a car crash: false. (luckily some dings but no actual crashes, thus far.)I've caught a snowflake on my tongue: true.I've sat on a roof top at night: true.I've played chicken: false.I've played a prank on someone: false. (i hate hate hate being played the fool, so i would be loath to intentionally dupe someone, myself!)I've ridden in a taxi: true. lots.I've seen the Rocky Horror Picture Show: true. never been to one of those shows, though.I've eaten Sushi: i heart sushi.I've been skiing: hah! fell down the bunny slope at age 8. but snowboarding was awesome!RANDOM:I own something from Hot Topic: aw shucks, true...i loved those good ol' days...I own something from The Gap: ugh, true. but not a lot of stuff.I own something I got on eBay: true.I own something from Abercrombie: false false false. I own something from American Eagle: i might have a sweater from there, that i got for like $10. but i don't seek that store out to shop in.I own something from Anchor Blue: huh?MORE RANDOM:I've stolen a tray from a fast food restaurant: does campus dining count? for tray-ing (sledding on dining hall trays)?I watch the news: sometimes clips online, but usually i just read articles.I kill bugs: i wish i didn't have the utter, petrifying fear that i have of bugs, because i'd much prefer to live & let live. but unfortunately i can't always stop my imaginings of being attacked by creepy-crawly things!!! :(I curse reguarly: true.I sing in the shower: true, i've been known to, but not very often.I'm a morning person: neither. depends, mostly. i can be.I have listened to more than 30 CD's in a day: false. (is it possible?)My favorite color is: pink, red, blue, black. brilliant shades of green. sometimes grays & browns & purples.I've worn pajamas in school: false. oh, except for once when we had to for volleyball initiation in high school, but that was totally intentional and i changed into them for the school day, i didn't just roll out of bed....I know how to shoot a gun: false. no interest.I laugh at my own jokes: sometimes so much so that people don't get the punchline, or what i'm trying to say! haha.I am really ticklish: unfortunately, all too true.I play video games: if MMORPGs count, then yes. i love those, and all old school Sierra games (mostly King's Quests). otherwise, no. i don't have any consoles or anything, never did.I'm good at remembering numbers: depends, but usually not.I'm good at remembering names: false. i usually have to ask several more times, or ask other people so i don't look like a total fuckup for not knowing their name like 3 weeks later. but every once in a while a name sticks with me, either because i really like it or because i have some way of associating it with something else.I'm good at remembering dates: i used to be the only person who remembered people's birthdays, before the advent of social networking sites that remind everyone! oh, well. i never was great at actually associating a date with a person (not like Naz's dad!), but i was really good about writing them all down in my planner & then copying them over from year to year. yeah. i know i am such a loser.
