FAT FESTIVAL#5
"Nostalgic Charm of the Origin"
After the unexpected success of #4, we took a decisive turn in Fat Festival#5. We wanted to bring back the charm of early Fat Festivals where artists and admirers can truly interact. Fat Festival became a ticketed event, limited to 100,000 audience. The location, a deserted old amusement park in the heart of Bangkok where all the kids have visited, reflected our nostalgic theme.
Silent Discotheque where individuals with headphones dance to their personal tunes without noise pollution to others, was set up.
Live coverage of the whole event was broadcasted throughout the two days from a temporary studio.
Goose and Buddha Bless were among the new trendsetters recognized in this years festival.

FAT FESTIVAL#4
"Growing in a Horse Racing Speed"
FAT became an international music festival as we welcomed independent artists from around the world to our 200,000 enthusiastic audience. The venue was the old horse racing track complex in Bangkok with 6 stages performing simultaneously in different themes. The Dek-Naew phenomena had proved that there is really an enormous thirst for independent voices. With 200,000 attenders, we sadly had to turn away some of the fans gathered outside the gate.
Fat Festival #4 marked the craziest and most over-whelming year of all the festivals.
Art students were also welcomed into our new Art and Fashion market which later expanded into T-Shirt Festival, an annual event on its own.
This years festival marked the launch of DDT, the music magazine closely related to FAT radio. Also the new faces such as Sae-na Hoi, Exotic and Sinorita were spot.

FAT FESTIVAL#3
"Join a day of Fun"
The melting pot of Suan Kids (Thai hippie teens) and the Siam Kids (Bangkoks trendsetter teens) at the water theme park, conveniently named Suan Siam. The attenders increased up to 100,000 with 7 zones in rainbow color.
There was a space dedicated solely for amateurs artists to show their fresh music to the waiting crowd.
Outdoor silent movies with live music were performed here, along with booths of film production company, promoting for their upcoming flicks. The film Buppharatri managed to build a haunting house inside the festival to give audience a glimpse of its horror theme.
Fat Festival#3 was a discovery ground for the great FUTON and PEACEMAKER. It was also a milestone of sub-culture Dek Naew, a trend which evolved around FAT radio as a center.

FAT FESTIVAL#2
"The Continuation of Passion"
Fat Festival #2 packed Imperial World Ladprao with double the number of live audience from the initial festival. There were 40,000 attenders joining the passion of the festival.
Fat Festival #2 initiated the music market for the amateurs with professional passion.
The experimental music artists performed on stage, a rare occasion in Thai music industry, then.
* It was the birth place of legendary artists Scrubb, Thaitanium and Flure.

FAT FESTIVAL#1
"The Beginning of a Legend"
Fat Festival found its first location at the old Tobacco factory with more than 20,000 attenders in its first year. It fast became the place where all faces in the independent music scene gathered and simply shared their passion. It was the first time where the creators and the admirers met.
The craze of INDY started here.
From the start, Fat Festival wasnt only a music festival, but also a venue for short films and hand-made books.
* It was the birthplace of well-known magazines such as a day and Hamburger.
* It was the birthplace of famous artists such as Groove Riders, Dajim and Armchair.
