If you haven't heard yet, Blacksuit Joker returned to the grave from whence it came. Due to time and money constraints, as well as many artistic differences, the band has broken up. This does not necessarily mean that the four members are done with music, just the last chapter for blacksuit joker. We thank everyone who ever came to one of our shows, bought a t shirt, told their friends about us, or helped us book shows.

That's right, after months of waitng, Blacksuit Joker is returning to the studio to record. Only this time, we're going to record a full 5 song EP. We're going to be heading to the studio of Patrick Haulter in the next couple of weeks and begin the process. What thrills and chills await?

Hey guys,

We hope to see all your smiling faces this Friday, the 14th at FFC. But this show, we'd like to reach out a little more to our audience. If you look in our music player, the lyrics for "Streets of South Vale" have been posted.

So were asking our friends and fans to look over them and strive for the front row on Friday. We love our listeners more than anything and would like for them to become more a part of the band and create interaction at shows.

It seems during our nights spent waiting in the dark, we've stumbled upon what could turn into a new brotherhood. We're afraid we can't give you the details yet, but stay tuned, they should be revealed very soon.

Hey we just wanted to thank all who came out to support us this past Friday at FFC. We haunted the stage with all that we had, and had a blast in the process. We also made alot of new friends, and hope to see all of them again at future shows. And speaking of which, now that the FFC show is done, we're empty at the moment and need more shows. Tonight Brandon officially resigned from Blacksuit Joker to pursue his own musical career that best fits his personal style and tastes. However, Brandon leaves us on good terms, and we thank him for all the time and energy he put into BsJ and we wish him the best.

The new lineup will be the same as before, minus Brandon. We will not be replacing him, so it will now be just the four of us.

And on a later note, with the addition of our new song up we are completely ready to start playing shows. Know any good venues to play around here? Know any good shows needing bands? Need a band to come play at your party? Just supply us the locale and we'll supply the ghoulish good tunes.

The suspense shall finally be put to rest. This Friday yours truly will be recording at JETLAG. We are all very excited to get in the studio and finally begin to record. And hopefully soon after, we will begin playing more shows around the local venues. So don't throw those zombie costumes in the closet just yet, because it's beginning to look alot like...HALLOWEEN.

We just got done playing at this years HallowedFest, and were all still excited. We were thrilled that Sacred Sorrow chose us to play, and a chance to get out and meet some of the faces of New Albany. We'd like to thank everyone last night who came to support us, cheered us on, bought a shirt, and hung out with us after the show.

If anyone has any openings for future shows this month, we'd gladly help out. Although, this month Blacksuit Joker will sort of be retreating to our secret lair. We will begin writing new songs and starting to record our first demo. So subscribe to our blog, so you can get the latest thrills and chills as we post them.

Blacksuit Joker is proud to announce that in the past couple weeks, two new faces have joined our roster. Our empty spot for our old guitarist has now been filled by two extraordinary guys. Brandon Sieg and Danny Sorrow now stand amidst the shadows of Blacksuit Joker. Both bring a unique and exciting sound, and we are now going to stay underground for a while to work on our new set. We will reemerge just in time for our favorite day of the year, Halloween, to play at this years' Hallowed Fest. And trust us, we will have plenty of tricks up our sleeves.

We are proud to announce that the newest member of Blacksuit Joker is Brandon Sieg, on guitar. Taking a leave from the Louisville rock&roll scene, he's stepping up to take on a whole new project. Our previous guitarist left us no recordings to work with, so we are currently recreating our songs, and writing new ones in time for Hallowed Fest. However, now with Brandon in our ranks, we feel we can head the band in the direction we originally intended it to. If you liked our first couple shows...you ain't seen nothing yet.

And while Brandon has filled our hole for a guitarist, that's not to say other new faces might appear from the shadows as well...
