October: "Right Here Right Now (Live Jam 2005)"

Along with the work on the new album the band would like to invite the fans to the creative process by sharing a demo every month. Obviously these are not the top-produced hit singles rather than outtakes and strange stuff we hope that fans will find interesting to listen to and sometimes maybe even enjoyable!
The first demo out is a late night live jam session in the studio with Eskil and Joakim from the Skyshaper sessions 2005. New stuff will follow as it is being produced.

Neben der Arbeit am neuen Album möchten Covenant die Fans am kreativen Prozess teilhaben lassen, indem jeden Monat ein Demopräsentiert wird. Natürlich sind das keine top-produzierten Hit-Singles, sondern eher Ausschnitte und "seltsames Zeug", von dem wir hoffen, dass die Fans es interessant finden und manchmal sogar Freude daran haben.
Das erste Demo (ab heute im Player) ist eine nächtliche "jam session" aus den Skyshaper Sessions im Jahr 2005 mit Eskil und Joakim im Studio. Neues folgt, wenn es in Arbeit ist.

Covenant will perform in Kassel the 2nd of Oktober. On stage Clas will be replaced by Daniel Myer of haujobb and the band says they have started to work on an album together with Daniel and will present a new song(s) in Kassel!

Covenant werden am 2. Oktober in Kassel wieder mit Daniel Myer (haujobb) in Vertretung von Clas auf der Bühne stehen. Außerdem lässt die Band verlauten, dass sie, ebenfalls zusammen mit Daniel, die Arbeit am nächsten Album aufgenommen haben. Beim Konzert in Kassel wird (mindestens) ein neuer Song zu hören sein!

[german]   Endlich steht der Veröffentlichungstermin der ersten DVD von Covenant fest. In Transit wird am 19.10.2007 veröffentlicht. Bei dieser Doppel-DVD handelt es sich um keine gewöhnliche Live-DVD, sondern um ein Roadmovie und eine Dokumentation der "Skyshaper"-Tour zugleich. Über den Zeitraum von eineinhalb Jahren folgte das Kamerateam der Band von Europa nach Amerika, durch die weiten Russlands und über die Anden Südamerikas. Hier bekommt man einen persönlichen Einblick in das Leben auf Tour, die täglichen Höhen und Tiefen, die harte Arbeit an den Details im Hintergrund und natürlich auch die Partys.
Die Band spricht offen über ihre Musik, enthüllt ihre geheimen Gedanken und Träume und wie nie zuvor lernt man das Phänomen Covenant zu entdecken, zu verstehen und zu begreifen. Aber was wäre eine Live-DVD ohne die Konzerte. Natürlich sieht man die unglaublichen Performances auf der Bühne.


[english]   "In Transit" is no ordinary live DVD. It's a roadmovie, a documentary of Covenant's Skyshaper Tour. Spanning a period of almost one and a half year we get to follow the band through Europe, through North America from NYC to Seattle, across the vastness of Russia and over the Andes to South America.
Here we get a unique glimpse of what life on the road is really about: the highs and the lows, the hard work behind the scenes and the parties as well, the trivial and the glorious, the exotic and the mundane. The band speak openly about their music, their inner thoughts and dreams and we get to know what makes Covenant tick, much of which they have never revealed before. And of course we get to see them perform their music on stage.
