Hey everyone.

So that's it, i moved.. it took me a long time to sort out my visa and ... my life...! but i'm finally enjoying LA sun everyday .
Being a vegan in LA is like being in heaven ... i'm now fatening myself with vegan fake "chicken" wings, as if i needed that ! and a lot of vegan chocolate peanut butter donuts, yummy!

My record is taking ages to finish .. coz i have no more money ..
so i can't update new songs coz they're not finished recording yet ..
i thought i'd update a lot a video with new songs instead... so you can still hear what it sound like with my band too !

Sometimes music drives me crazy... it's so hard .. people are so much just about money and career, which is the opposite of what i aim for.. why should art be an industry ..? i'm missing acting a lot .. it's way more easy ( though even more of an industry, which i blame too ).. but serving a project and helping people is way more what i'm about, having a solo project is the hardest thing ever...
i think after this record, i might just want to play in bands.. at least i won't be so lonely facing adversity..

I can't wait for my Australian tour .. i'm planning on staying there 2 extra weeks after the tour to enjoy the sun and the kangarous and try to learn how to surf !

Christmas in the US is so different than in Europe, everything is decorated , illuminated and incredibly pretty ... and you can really feel the taste of christmas, it almost make me like christmas !

Also, thanks again for your support and nice emails,  it's very precious.

Hello there ..

Happy vacations if you are in...
So, well, i have a lot of news ...
i've been to Mexico, particing yoga ...
it was pretty amazing .

then i've been to Seattle, and i met a bunch of amazing musicians and found a great studio called Bear Creek, and also, finally someone great to do my record with: Ryan Hadlock ...

So basically, if everything was right and the world was perfect, my record would already be done, almost out, and i could fcus on touring like crazy this summer... but the world has decided to challenge me a little, and thought it shouldn't be so easy ...
SO, i'll be recording my album from next week til mid august in amazing Seattle, meaning, i am so so sorry, but that include that i have to cancel a few great festivals : Paléo, 3 elephants, Emmaboda, Haldern... i'm very sorry , deeply ..
but it was the only spot where all these amazing people were available ... and i need them with me to make a good enough record..

but it's only for good, coz then i'll have a record, and hopefully a bit more money to tour in a bit more places...
meaning, i'll come soon ! you won't even have time to say " F*** it "...

Also, i just wrote that song at 4am, coz i'm so excited about recording, that i needed to right now... and i thought, i haven't post any new songs in ages, and i have a lot, so i should ... it's called " YOU have a power on me "..

2 new songs in one week...
actually i have many more, i’ll post them later..
so, as usual, it’s just demos, little jam on my garage band or 4 track,
nothing fancy, but i just thought i should keep you update.

so, my movie is gonna end up in a week from now...
it’s been very long, and was very good too..
i’m happy i can go back full time on music when i’m done.
i have a few gigs coming...
i’ll post them soon..

last few months have been quite hard..
i’ve played a lot of solo gig due to unreliable guitarist, and i actually liked it a lot.. made me more confident in the fact that it’s actually my music... and i don’t need anybody to help me do it... and i can also do it alone.. such a great feeling of independance.
and i’ve learned a bit of guitar and a bit of drums, which is sooooo exciting !

i’ve been hanging out in London quite a lot, and i’m begining to like it there, it’s just so good for music, i’ve been lucky enough to meet and hang out with super bands like Noah and the Whale, Mumford and Sons, Kid Harpoon, Peggy Sue and The Pirates, Jay Jay Pistolet... it just feel so good to share music with such nice people... check there myspace !

i’m setting up my home studio but i have so much problems with it...
it’s seems like technology is against me, and doesn’t want to be my friend at all...
i’ve been waiting for a year and a half to be ready in my head to make a record... and now that i’m so ready and know exactely what i want , it seems like the whole life is against me ! bouhou ..

i’m getting bored in paris, i wanna move to new york...
i wish i could at least have 3 days of vacation, somewhere far, with gypsies in Roumania with my friend Sarah... around the campfire with crazy violons... and good food... haaaaa food... i wish i could hate eating...

well, i think that’s pretty much it...

Yesterday, on the radio i heard the horrible things that happen right now in Kenya...
I normaly never pay attention to the news,
just because it scares me so.
So all day i've been thinking about that
about Hotel Rwanda
about people fighting for i don't even know what
and i'm so far from that
they're thinking about how to survive
i'm thinking about buying a new guitar...
I felt so selfish and guilty for i don't know what.
You can't carry the world misery, can you ?
no, but com'on when you open your eyes just a little bit
and you hear all that drama all around
it seems just like it's another world...
I've seen Blood Diamond yesterday,
the movie with Dicaprio,
I felt nauseous during the whole movie,
like " ho god that's a nightmare".

Anyway, i don't really know why i'm here at 7am writting all that.
Probably coz i can't sleep
coz i have too many bad pictures in my head
coz one of my friend is in Kenya right now
and i'm afraid i could never see him again.

Ok,
i'm strating a movie the 11th, a french one, directed by super cool Xavier Gianoli french director.
It's gonna last 3 months, so for that time, i might let music a bit aside...
but i'll try to write and stuff like that... i won't stop, i swear !


Anyway, before i start the movie, my managers have decided to challange me in planning stuff absolutly everyday, so i don't have one single minute for me, and i'll prbably die at 27 and then enter the legend of suicide at 27...

So i'm tired as hell, i look like shit, have no more time for friends, work as a donkey... but i play cool gigs..
and it's all that matters...

SO, planning of minister for my weekend :

Friday night: gig in Berlin, which is apparently sold out.

Saturday night: gig in London at ICA with MIA and Radioclit, which is Sold out..

And then, Sunday afternoon: gig with Black Kids with no limit of age apparently... so bring your little sister and your neview and cousins...
or bring your big brother if he's single, hippie looking, nice, and cuddly, and eat vegan, and make sure i meet him !

Then i'm back to paris, have one day off to meet my plumber coz my bathroom is broken ( shit ! ) and then start working hard...

I'm really far from making a proper album,
