PS: The educational films are from my 16mm collections in Detroit that I transferred digitally. I'm not sure I've seen the "Good Assignment..." film on Prelinger Archives, has anyone? And of course I changed all the titles, the first one saying "Make sure you understand" to "alcohol"...and Gus (kid) understands that! hee hee ;)

This is a video promo of the event for Eject Management.
At this event I VJ-ed, videotaped, photographed and then afterward made this promo.
Merci to Marc (Eject Management), merci to Arnaud Rebotini for his soundtrack 'Un Cheval d'Orgueil', and merci to Grégory Guy (aka VJ Firestarter) for shooting me VJ-ing live - first time I'm in one of my promos that I make! ouais! :)
TECHNICAL NIGHTMARE:
I made this video with various visual noise and distortion effect filters and well, that just doesn't jive in video compression land and I totally forgot about that while emerged in the creative process. :(
So, I had to applied a couple blur filters and make a 720x480 into a 1280x720 HD version in order for this video to be viewable on vimeo - otherwise, too many damn pixelated artifacts, totally unbearable to watch - that is why this susposedly HD video is slightly blurred and not crystal clear clean.

D'Jamency + VJ Julie Meitz = Best Live Mix Excerpts from Julie Meitz on Vimeo. This is a live VJ (Video Jockey) mix ; on the fly attempt to fit. Resolume beta 2.4 (audio analyzer *not* used).
That night I had technical problems and did not mix as well as I would
have liked to. Yet, D'Jamency as usual, jammed très+très bien and that
helped me keep my cool. :)
2 more technical notes; there is a hum in the sound and the night-shot
mode (infrared) on the camcorder just doesn't cut it sometimes - yet
without it, live feed of DJs just isn't possible, so...
Lastly, Le Globull changes it's deco all the time, so when I arrived,
they had designed the screen in 2 parts and so often I tried to use an
effect that separated the image into 3 horizontal parts to try and
match/play with it's screen shape.
