Here are details from AD Music about "Sines of Life (Vol. 1).

"Sines of Life (Vol. 1) is David's 20th solo CD release in a career that spans more than 20 years and the album has been something of a labour of love, as explained in the informative 16 page booklet. The production is superb and with a running time of over 78 minutes this fitting anniversary album provides both quality and quantity. If you're already familiar with the work of David Wright, then this album really is a "must have" because the reworked live tracks are significantly different from the originals to differentiate this set from a traditional "Greatest Hits" compilation. If you're not and you're into good quality, melodic and emotive electronic music, then "Sines of Life" has more than enough quality to warrant your investigation and ensure your interest.

Five tracks from the forthcoming album "Sines of Life (Volume 1)" due for release on CD in June 2009 have been uploaded to myspace today in low rate format (80kbps). This forthcoming album contains live and studio works including live tracks with Klaus Cosmic Hoffmann. The reworked concert versions of  "Walking with Ghosts", "Just and Illusion" and "State of Bliss sound like brand new tracks and are very very different from the studio originals. And for those who don't like audience noise, the "live tracks" have been studio edited and don't contain any audience applause etc.

Further information should appear on the electonica music AD Music website and on the David Wright instrumental music website very soon.

And yes, there is a Sines of life Volume 2 on the way..............more details to follow

"Dreams and Distant Moonlight" was winner of the best CD
2008 at the German Schallwelle Music awards in Dinslaken, Germany on
Saturday 21st March 2009. I was genuinely surprised and joked; "I
thought I was getting best young newcomer" as I accepted the award. There were some great albums in the category, included Spyra, Ron Boots and Rainbow Serpent, so I'm flattered and honored to receive the award - and its a really cool looking glass design too! I was also nominated in the best
artist category, and that deservedly went to Spyra.

The awards ceremony was well attended and there was a good feeling
about the whole day and the future of the scene. It was well organized, with a lot of familiar faces, the speeches included some great annichdotes from Mario Schonwalder (about TD and other Berlin based musicians), Bernd
Kistenmacher, (amusing tips for newcomers to the music scene) Klaus Hoffmann and Harold Grosskopf (about some LSD trips in the old days) and it was all expertly compared by Sylvia Sommerfeld and Stefan Erbe. The highlight though was, without a doubt, the lifetime achievement award presented to the German radio anchorman Winfried Trenkler.  A hugely popular person amongst musicians and fans alike, Winfried was very emotional at the long ovation he received, but it was richly deserved for his huge contribution to electronic music. I met him several times in the mid 1990's and have nothing but the highest respect and admiration for the man. It was a great thrill to be there when he received the award.

I recently worked with fellow AD Music artist Geigertek on music for a Christmas TV advertisement. We had such positive feedback to it that we decided to arrange the piece for a Christmas single. Although initially just a fun ditty, the music seemed to strike a chord with everyone who heard it. So, Neil Fellowes (Geigertek) and I are delighted to be able to share with you; "The Dancing Snowman" and we hope it puts you all in a festive mood. Sorry it isn't available for download on myspace, but it soon will be available via AD Music. Enjoy and an early "Happy Christmas" to you all.
